Hi bros of SBF,

Me got another problem. On my last post, I face the problem of loosen chain. After tighten, I tot problem solve liao. But today during riding, I heard another different sound from chain. This time like chain dragging sound. I put bike on main stand and spin the rear wheel. As the chain turn, normally it should be smooth. But when turning half way, the chain will jerk and vibrate left right, then smooth again. When I check the free play, was surprise to find tat at some point, the chain was loose, then at another, the chain very very tight. I suspect that is the cause of the jerk. However I not that sure.

So I ask my frens. One told me that chain, the most use up to 2 years. Izzit true? I tot if the sprocket teeth become sharp then change. When I told him since I bought the bike in 03 and till now nv change chain b4, he was like shock.

Riding RXZ.

Advise again, thanks.

Thanks bros,

for all the advise. Ya its the chain and sprocket problem. I have change the whole set this morning and the rubber fitting that Khaitronic mention. now very very smooth. even i put main stand and spin the rear wheel, not as noisy as b4. I dunno wats that price for changing the set but I was charge $60 for the chain and sprocket and $12 for the rubber fitting. Chain and sprocket brand is JHH and the rubber fitting is Yamaha Genunie Part.
