would like to seek help from bros here.

i have only 500$ for downpayment and i seriously need to get a bike from a bikeshop.i am below 21 and just got my license.so is there anyshop that can pay 500$ as downpayment cause i cant afford more than that amount?

i hope to get a honda sp.

bros please do not flame me saying no money dun get a bike.

its just that i really need to get a bike for some reasons.

YES U can get a SP for S$500 DP.

Maybe u might need a guarantor but that's the least of the problems u should worry about.

This is the good news.

 

Now for the bad news.

There is no new SP for sale. So only the 2nd hand ones remaining.

Bear in mind that 2nd hand bikes do fail easier compared to brand new ones. And gd condition ones costs alot more.

So be prepared to spend abit for repairs that might happen during the first few days or weeks.

 

So weigh the good and the bad points and remember to ride safely.

Nowadays seldom find shop tale $500 DP.. mostly $800 because of the new law that new rider pay $150 more and also the GST hike, Unless u really go and find..

aniway, you're still new...and got budget constrain...so dun be too hasty to get a "dream" bike...i'm guessing you 'need' a transport but 'want' something dats not too shabby in terms of appearance...i'm sure alot of us have been in that situation b4...so dun be too image conscious lah....

Ya.. I totally agreed with LonesomeRider. Don't make rush decision, even if

you are able to down pay at $500, you must also make sure that your

monthly installament is not a problem for you. Secondly, 2nd hand bike

also means higher chances of machine break down.. you may end up

spending even more $$$$$$$. If budget constrain why not settle more "affordable" models as what LonesomeRider said. I believe that

every bike have it's own beautiful, you may be suprise that an old RX K

mod condition might be able to speed with SP..

is there any shop that allow zero downpayment? Let say machine price $2500. insurances, gst, whatever fee another $800. total $3300.

 

If down $500

3300-500=2800, installment 3 years 2800 x 1.18 (6% interest) =3304

monthly about $92

Total amount you pay for the bike is $3304 + $500 (down) = $3804

 

Zero downpayment

3304x 1.18 =3899

monthly $108.

 

The diff is only $90.

 

I would rather keep the $500 in case i need to touch up the bike and for monthly maintance.

after total up(loan+interest+deposit+whatever fees,etc)

 

FREAking $17800!

not lying here..

with that price add 10k++ can get a 1.0 or 1.3lit car sia or r1 07!

but its a lesson learnt fer me n my fren

as not to be too kanchong when dealing with bike and low downpayment ~
