Quick Q about bike ownership transfer.

Can the owner of the bike transfer the bike to my name if he is not physically there?

 

Meaning that I take his IC to go down to LTA to do the transfer to my name on my own.

Also, will it be possible if the owner has lost is logcard?

the log card is no longer important. LTA dont use log cards anymore. You can do a transfer without the guy present. Make him sign on the transfer form, bring his original IC to LTA to transfer.

 

Make sure you got insurance to cover also.

Just in case, better bring along a letter of authorisation from the registered owner authorising you to transfer the bike to your name
