NAw.. not racer breed at all. As you said, its just lots of faith in the bike and in my skills.

I need to find out from you guys where y'll get your tires from.

 

F: 130/70 - 17

R: 190/60 - 17

 

Think the rear can be easily found but the front? Who carries size 130 front tires??

rear should use 190/50, many models for u to choose from

BT014, BT020, Metezeler sportec M1, etc

 

front 130/70 only got BT020 and dunlop sportmax

 

so the ideal choice would be a pair of BT020 s

 

i'm tinking of changing today, so coincidently tat u ask... hehe

 

my old tires r front 120/80 Metzeler ME880 marathon and rear 190/50 Metzeler MeZ4.

190/50 confirm can.. in fact, i cannot find 190/60 in SG yet, all the class 2 sports use 190/50 or 180/55

 

FYI, the later CB1300 models with SINGLE exhaust use 120/70, 180/55

our older CB1300 ( 1998-2001 ) use 130/70, 190/60

 

i know its really headache when comes to finding tires of our sizes, the bikeshop which i bought from couldnt find a 130/70 so gave me 120/80 instead. Now, my rear's wearing off sooner than my front, but i wish to change both of them...

when i changed over to 130 from 120, feels different..

 

5th gear at 4000rpm, does it give u 110km/h? if yes, tat means no difference in meter readings...

Wow can`t help reading bout u guys pegs scrapping, I scrap my foot pegs almost all the time where ever and whenever I can on my 04` CB1300, it`s that grinding sensation u feel that makes u feel good and the awful ginding sound it produce.

 

I`ve to replaced my pegs blob twice due to this unlawful behaviour...but I enjoyed it. Read somewhere that u can buy aftermarket titanium blobs mean`t for this purposes only..and it promises BRIGHT SPARKS when it hit the road.....especially in the dark... ooooh..
