Hello everyone,

Does anyone know where I can get a set of engine guard for the CB 750 "Seven Fifty" model? Boon Siew does not carry.

Appreciate any reponse that might lead to a lead.

Ah Boy does not have this item.

Imported it from Fehling (German company)

Hi chansk,

thanks for sharing the above infor. :thumb:

when i bought my cb750 from an indian uncle in 2007, the bike is already equipped with a pair of crash bar. i always wonder how much a replacement set will costs :cheeky:

since we are riding the same bike, will be good if we can meet-up for coffee.

hi bro,

r u riding a cb750 rc42?

http://www.honda.co.jp/motor-lineup/cb750/

if yes, then i have seen my fellow riding buddy done modification to a new set of cb400 suspension to fit his cb750.

His suspension on his cb750 is spoiled .....

bought a pair of cb400 suspension

took out the spring of the cb750 as the spring is much thicker and harder than the stock spring of the cb400

replace the stock spring of cb400 with cb750 ...

fix up and the result is a much firmer suspension with a lower travel

i heard that the original suspension of the cb750 is also servicable.

hope my sharing can be of help to u :thumb:

Met up with my cb750 buddy recently ..... yes, his bike is little lower than the usual cb750 due to the lowered suspension.

i have ordered a new swing arm from Boon Siew recently; due to rust that "eaten up" my current swing arm of my cb750 rc42.

Pls check if the 2 plates at the end of the swing arm are correctly positioned. Those plates should have the the "UP" sign and do ensure that they are correctly positioned. Because these plates were designed to let water escape; if they are positioned downside up ..... water will trap .... then corrosion .... then problem.

Juz sharing what i have experienced ..... do check the position of those plates; especially after taking out the rear tyres as the mechanic that does the job is only human and does make mistakes too.
