Ive always been wondering what's e differences between the CBs series 750/1k/1.3k and CBs hornet series 600/900.? Though they are pretty identical less of engine specs.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm i think CB 750/1K/1.3K are more of own engines Or more of a touring engine. As for Hornet 600/900 engine are straight from the sport bikes CBR600 and CBR900. Meaning Hornets are naked sports bike. Like Honda X11 is from Blackbird engine but its naked version.

 

Correct me if im wrong.

Well, i have ordered a H4 4,300k hi/lo hid to one of the HK sellers @ ebay yesterday .... hoping it can arrive before our next tour ride

x11 is a naked sport tourer?

 

Yup Honda X11 aka X-Eleven is direct engine from BlackBird.

 

But if you wanna compare the out looks of CB family and Hornet family then its very obvious wat.

 

CB Family exhaust are usually normal height while Hornets are more of side undertail pipes. Tail light different also. As for weight wise Hornets are lighter and more nibble. I believe CB family are more for touring or long distance riding for comfy. As for Hornets they have sharper handling and quicker in turns. If im not wrong.

hi bro..CB750/CB1K (old version) and CB1300 they called it "Muscle Bike"... while Hornet (street fighter)...new version CB1000R (engine fr CBR1000RR) also Street Fighter to compete FZ1 and Kawa Z1000 juz name a few..tks

To me, Muscle bikes are bike that are like VF700 Super Magna, Vmax, Vrod, Intruder 1200, Yamaha Warrior, Rocket 3. As for CB family i think they cat it Street bike.
