Looking to find more people riding this bike.. Anyone ride this bike at the moment?

1. Casio - Upper Thomson

Hai friends out there. I am Reen one of the CB13 rider and I have been solo rider. No groups and no team most of the time. Riding at my own leisure most of the time. I had been riding Varadero XL1000. Its a good bike at dual condition. Now I am riding CB1300 my dream bike after hunting for 4yrs. I am multi racial, spontaneous and love riding and share knowledge and experience. No regret of my CB1300. Easy maintenance and parts with twin exhaust system. I am looking forward to transport my CB13 to OZ somewhere in 2011 if I can't get the same model in OZ. If u like to meet up just drop me an email ok. Nice to quote and to know u. Well I am looking another rider with CB13. I am regular to JB trip every 4-5 days for the past 7yrs till now by solo bike. Care to join let me know ha.... Even I am in CB13 but I am not a speed racer but fast with safety rider is my top priority. Have a nice day.....

Errrrrrrrrrr non owner can comment??? Hahahaha.

1)Heat issue i think all bike the same. The bigger the CC the hotter it gets so ride faster at a lower RPM will help. If naked CB13K got prob then i think the fairing bike will be much worst.

2) Maintaince will be almost the same as 2A just abit more. Only thing is the Insurance against your age. But naked bike cat usually insurance is less than superbike. And dun worry cos CB13K is not as popular as Kips or CB400 which they specified these bike as higher insurance premium, well at least by NTUC the gauge is like that.

3) CB13K is definately a multi purpose bike. Be it for tour or for daily use. Well i did my CB1K for a little off road and its still ok. So i figure CB13K should have a better handling for mini offroad. Depending on your personal skill. I no skill so i cannot. Some ppl can even ride R1 and corner on mountain road with sand so.... CB13K is good for daily commute also. As the FC i think should be ard the same as any other big bike. And most importantly the riding posture is superb. But one thing is if you are abit to the short size try to avoid. Well thats at least for the CB1K

4) As for parts, you are talking abt a 2008 bike eh. Why worry abt parts? Then my 1994 CB1K die liao lor hahaha.... no offence but dun worry. Parts and accessories are alot.

Hope it helps. Any offence is not meant to be.

informative is the word.... thanks

i am 1.7m but i think i have short in-seam... will this be a issue? i am currently riding a f650gs with a seat height of 790mm

Oh you are riding a F650GS. Then why change to a Honda CB13K? Hahaha well yea your height i think ok for CB13K. But hmmm might be abit heavier than your beemer. Cos the riding height 790mm is the lowest setting for CB13K but dun worry abt clearance thou haha.

If you are talking abt ABS vers i think the 2007 has one -->http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/honda_cb1300s_abs_2007.php

Usually it will activate at 3/4 for my CB1K i think should be too for CB13K. But you can change the thermostarter to set it earlier.

Hope it helps. But i definately hope that some CB13K owner will come and say for themselves is better. Cos i noob. :D

the abs is the 's' version or called the 'sa' in singapore. the naked ones which in my knowledge is a option in UK for that bike... Singapore BS told me they do not have a ABS option but my regular bike shop says there is..

I am not changing bikes... just wanna get a extra one for transport and some extra fun/power. the GS temp sensor activate the fan at 104 degree.... max temp is 128....

hate the heat when i am less than 100km\hr...

thanks anyway

My ride on Labour Day has been labourious

cb750 towed a GSXR1000 from mersing back to Singapore

EFI GSXR1000 electrical fault ... replaced blown fuse ... smoke comes out from ignition.

Then, we tow the bike ourselves :sian:

This is the 1st time a GSXR 1000 smell cb750 smoke all the way from mersing to S'pore :cheeky:
