need your advice n opinions~~~

been reading much on purchasing of 2nd hand bikes from shop but still very much a noob in it.. ..went scouting for bikes today..was quoted 2800 for a FW plate kawa kr n 3800 for a FY plate at most of the shops..was told dat if im goin for hire-purchase i can only settle with a 2nd party insurance which was ard 700-800 since im already 21 n still a p-plater..n that i can only choose a 3rd party insurance which is 500 plus if i pay full cash..so came across this FW kr at one of da shops..the guy talk2 n somehow came out with 4700 otr under hire-purchase..so if machine price+insurance is 2800+max 800=3600, i was wondering da remaining 4700-3600=1100 is for what other fees..i noe got gst, agreement fees and blah blah blah but will it add up to more than 1k?? was tinking if hes out on 'project chop carrot'..haha..ask him to do breakdown but he like dunno or act like dun undastan my words n change topic..so do you tink its a reasonable price or it's way overpriced? need ur expert opinions cos i realli dun wanna become carrot head.. ..haha

 

n my fren told me dat i shud get my insurance myself n juz pay machine price to da shop cos i can just get a 3rd party insurance..was considering this option but do i ONLY haf to pay da machine price or is there any like fees or sumtiing which i have to pay as well to the shop..n how do i pay for the road tax if i choose this option? is it from da bike shop or go other place? realli2 need ur kind advice n opinions..ur replies will be much appreciated..thanks!!

so if i plan to get 2nd hand bike full cash from shop n get insurance myself, the coe n road tax the shop settle for u is it? so no other issues to settle?

The more than $1.1K could be the interest for the hire purchase...

 

So he's selling you for $3.6K but total up with interest for hire purchase is $4.7K lor..

Since if u r planning to pay cash, y dont u juz get from any of d forumer here. I'm sure u can get it cheaper than wat those shops are selling.

if he refuse to give you the breakdown, think you can go other shop. $4700 is way too high even if interests in included.
