my rs taichi drymaster started to leak in just less than 1 year and there is no warranty or whatsoever to cover it. the pants are ok, so far 1.5 yrs already still no leak.

 

i got myself a thenorthface raincoat with comes with lifetime warranty so far all the heavy rain no problems yet but you pay like double for the top only hahaha. just to let you knowi have already changed 3 sets of raincoat in 3 years and the total price is the same as one thenorthface raincoat.

OGK cost 79, lasted about almost a year.

RS Taichi cost 120 i think, lasted almost year too.

 

currently using thenorthface raincoat cost 200+ with RS pants lol

I think sometimes is about luck as well. Heard my dad saying he bought one then after awhile got water seep in, then with both hands holding it on top facing the sun, torns can be seen inside

The Malaysians at my workplace are using GIVI and they are always DRY when they reach work, even in thunderstorms.

Can also check out a outdoor shop at velocity beside outdoor life at lvl 3. Mont bell brand. Japanese brand at modest price. Packs into small packets.

 

They make all these outer shell officially for all Japanese households... Quite amazingly dry and light so far.
