Hi all, I'm comparing 3 sports tourers which is (FJR1300, GT1400 & ST1300) & wish to ask for advises/opinions on some specs;

1) which of them the riding posture is most upright by default ?

2) which of them generate lesser heat around engine-tank-seat area ?

Reason is I'm riding a blackbird now..have problem adapting to the crouching posture & the bike is very warm around groin area..

The 3 bikes also cater for different riding styles for groups of riders even its similar category. U may also want to consider the accessibility to simple servicing like change of plugs etc. Just to take note st1300a doesnt seem to have any more newer production as of date.

Hi thanx for the feedbacks..my priority lies in the riding posture coz due to some health condition I have difficulties riding sport bikes for long durations & I find them much warmer at the groin areas compared to upstraight posture bikes.

Love the smoothness of honda engine & transmission though..

I presume u rides a STX1300..? is it heavy to manouver for a 67kg person ? It's close to 100kg heavier than blackbird in full fuel mode

I rode st1100 n st1300. St1300 much bettwr in handling . It does seem like a beast but once on the move it rides easy. The smoothness n purring of the v4 is undeniable.

Also you can always add a handlebar risers for all the models you mention for more upright position. Yamaha n kawasaki has more tech displays n gizmo into their bikes.. honda has been sticking to theirs for years.

Yah when on the move most big bikes wont feel the heaviness but its when manovuering them in tight parking spaces scenarios etc..

Agrees with the risers & honda losing in the gizmo appeals to other brands..same for their new bike designs..lack appeals compared to yamaha & kawa..sad
