I used to ride a red vara.. recently changed to SYM Joyride.. I miss my old bike a lot.. Kept comparing my current bike performance and the SYM im riding now. To me, theres too much inferiority. I have to say that varadero still no. 1 lah.. In terms of pick up, yes its slow.. but when on longer journey, very stable.. Very smooth.. even if you go past a large/ huge vehicle. I felt safer with the vara then my current bike.

Just sharing

During my time (DEC 2002 - my plate is FV) i sourced around, and managed to get a lower downpayment from Mah Pte Ltd.. I paid S$1,000.00 + monthly of S$213.00 x 48 mths.. everything is incuded in, (IU Unit, insurance, transfer fees). The cash price is S$9.8K..(Cant really remmeber but definitely less than 10k (cheaper than Belwin, and Boon Siew - i only went to this three before i settled at Mah)..

They told me free servicing, but the servicing excludes labour cost.. But overall.. the price they charged me is S$11,224 inclusive interest..

To be honest with u bro...at the end of the day...u got to ask urself...what u want?...Power or Economical ?....Vara125 got no power but it is very stylish and economical bike....1st hand cheapest in town is at AsPhoon bendemeer...10.3k...a fren of mine juz bought it there last week....

2nd hand...u got to be patience and source for one...u know lah..some shop want to mark up the price...and it can be unreasonable....

no offend, but just my 2 cents worth of view

that verado 125 bike sucks

top can only go up to 120

that is wat my fren who is riding this bike tells me,

with that kind of price i rather spent it on a 150cc bike like SP or KRR

or a 400cc or 250cc bike like PGM , CBR etc

haha.. on singapore roads, 120 can already give you a huge fine and demerit points. try going 140 often and i'll see you having your license revoked someday. lol!

It's not how fast you ride, but how well you ride.

hello, nice to meet u all. i heard dat vara 125 can maintain 130km/h 4 long distances without having to stressed ur bike due to the v-twin engine. is dat true? im not talking about sg roads here. i often go up north with my pulsar n is freaking tiring. thnks!

just wan u guys opinion.

i heard vara 125 got no power. ic. is it it terms of pickup power?

another thing.

i got 2a but i dono weather or not get a cb400. i prefer vara but cb400 is better in terms of speed n power. but vara got dis cool touring looks!! v twin engine some more!!but i dono leh. aarrghh!!!

how i wish ders a vara 400cc. but in terms of insurance and maintainence wise, vara 125 is cheaper right? correct me if im wrong. thnks!

anyone rode the new model 08-09 vara model?

09 model is fuel injected while older models are carb. True vara 125 has no pickup but in terms of comfortability on longer rides for 2B bikes plus stylish looks...i guess its vara.

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.
