I juz bought cbr150 n as I was riding, the engine died. It took a few tries to start the bike again.. It will only start when I rev it once the engine starts.. The petrol is full.. Is it batt problem? Or spark plug or carb?

Pls advise..

Possible that the battery is low. Do you have a voltmeter installed? If not, bring it to a mech ASAP.

Or maybe there's some moisture in your spark plugs.Have the mech do a trial and error.Test voltage of the batteries, then spark plugs.

air..air filter is clean

spark...make sure plug, civer and high tension..all ok..

fuel...fresh n clean fuel fuel..carburetta...

compression..piston/rings, valves clearances..

Don't be silly it cannot be battery fault. You can start the bike without it's battery.

I once push start my bike to verify this and the bike can run with the battery taken out and left at home.

More likely it is a fuel OR air issue, as ezzyoiler said go through the list of possible source of problem and if it doesn't solve the problem the last, but very unlikely reason will be CDI spoil causing irregular sparking or the spark plug instead of a properly timed sparking upon compression of the petrol. For this you will have to go to a motorshop to get it change so you might as well get it checked it you cannot solve on your own.
