Cos i think boxer shld have more torque, which is good for a car, need some good acceleration. Most 1.6L are in-line 4.

hmm torque wise + - same due to weight problem and longer exos outlet. engine wise not really that much of difference between the old and new TS except 1 is hatch and old is sedan.

 

of coz we need to compare something like an apple to apple in order to see the results, but it sure is easy to find aftermarket parts if you're going at performance.

 

Unlike hyundai or nissan, heavy mods parts could be easily found off the shelve then custom made. boxer is just the design which seperates others from in-line / rotary which allows ppl to remember the brand subaru.
