I lowered my Fazer 1000 previously and trust me bro, it felt shitty. Everything felt 'out'. My advise is , just try to get used to the height.

why must flat foot? I am 1.63 and i am lady. rode a gsxr1000, cbr600 and currently riding a daytona. So far no a big issue at all.

I think some people get used to low profile bikes. Some of the older sportbikes are low. None of the newer bikes are that low anymore, I noticed.

I'm having the same height and same problem as you.

 

Like a few riders here, try lowering the bike and the response of the bike was bad. Reverse what I've previously did.

 

Trim the seat a little. That may help at the expense of butt comfort. Get use with one foot down instead of two. Get off the bike if you need to push the bike around.

 

It will takes a while to get the hang of it.

rather than doing mod to ur bike (expensive/impractical), cant u wear a thick sole boot, shoe or sandal (cheap/simple solution)???

I lower down my daytona 675 for better confort and handling.. just fabricate the lower link. Spent abt $50.. there is a shop at kaki bukit rd 2.. level 1..

maybe you can use Soupy's Threaded Style Lowering Links and also can get their adjustable side stand?...
