guys I managed to get hold of both my parents and this is what they told me, they got a Malay guy(malaysian) who did the paper work for them for 1k+ the first time then onwards few hundred..but over some time the fella like never paid for the paperwork to be processed and instead bribe the customs..then once he was hiding when my dad they all were at the customs..so end of the story, he wasn't a good man to process your paperwork..can't intro you guys to him sorry.

 

my dad did tell me info about the permit. 1k+ for 3 months like somebody said..not worth it..onwards renewal i think is few hundred or so..they said they went in to do themselves but later on did not..cuz it wasn't worth doing so.

 

There was a Van accident in M'sia before, a SG Van and it was my dad's friend. Few S'poreans were in it as a M'sian car hit the van, 1 died in the van and the other brought back to SG hospital and died.My dad's friend was to pay up to 50+k SGD over to M'sian side..why? I don't know..he got in deep **** although he was the victim.

 

so my advice to you guys is,

1) get someone reliable to check out the price and do it for you

2) don't do it, drive a car in instead

3) hire someone else(with his own van) to bring you in.Prefably S'porean as you might not know WTH he will bring you instead of your location.

Now the problem is the MY license - must go take the test - sh*t i so old leow - still must go test ............... haiz................ most likely to go take the test in Dec otherwise always kena fine rm150 cannot tahan......

huh? you mean you need to take a test? well I got no idea cuz my dad is fluent in malay and I think he can pass any test la that doesn't concern english writing good luck dude..no other way to like apply for the licence to travel in only? we're not driving left hand drive vehicles or their vehicles either your van is not PA plate?

SG class 3 can drive G-plate Van ( below 2.5 ton ) but not in MY. U show them yr SG Class 3 license, they will tell u this is MY - so need MY commercial license.

ohh you just let me know that haha..i didn't know..well my dad can pass anything about driving man..but he don't want the MY licence anymore cuz of the high costs hope you get yours cheap..

MY LTA, tedious process better get car dealers to do the inspection, btw u got the MY goods vehicle license ornot - if not sure kena fine. Better go get theie license 1st.

and is it possible that once i get this documentation to go in jb done then say after a few yrs i would like to buy to a bigger van so i just retain the no plate right to go jb..
