Hi guys,

I have some qns about on how to go about setting my BitComet for optimum download. I'd previously did port forwarding on my router and setting static IP for my computer, I am able to attain a very good speed on my BT downloads. However, that doesn't last long and now I am about back to having the amber light, asking me to check my firewall and NAT router configuration. These are the things I'd did.

1) Using a port greater than 45000 on my BitComet

2) Setting a static IP for my network

3) Setting port forwarding on my router

4) Enable my firewall to allow the port set on my BitComet to have access (Anyway, BitComet automatically set it for me)

What else am I missing?? Anyone can advice? Thanks.

thanks, i'd tried utorrent before, however it's not to my liking.

i did my port forwarding according to the website ya provided. it works wonder the first time.

now i'm wondering does my current slow downloading speed has anything to do with my new installation of the Norton System Work. I'd allowed full access of BitComet on my Norton.
