hello fellow riders.

i got into an accident a few mths ago and is settling by claiming through insurance. i have reported the incident to them(mitsui) and they said they would take my case. i thought all would be ok although i have to pay more later on ..then i got a letter from the other party's lawyer which is a carbon copy(cc) to me that my insurance agent have not replied.

what should i do? should i go after the company? i do not want to have a bad record..but i also don want to kena charge in court because my agent didnt take action on time.

When the other party sents you a letter that your insurance isnt replying.

It might be a letter to inform you that they are commencing legal actions against you as the party involves in the accident. Am I right?

You need to fax that copy of letter to the insurer and insist that they instruct their lawyers to reply.

hmm ya..they said within 10 days. but the letter was a cc to me. it was attn to the company i think the insurance company replied to them the first time only, when i reported it..

i didnt know a small accident can turn this big.so much cheaper to pte settlement.

Just give the insurance coy a knock, the main addressee shld be your insurance agent if u see the letter. Just a cc to u, smhow or rather the pple at the insurance will reply even if u tend to ignore. I believed so many cases for the insurance.

It doesn't matter how good your bike is, but how long you can ride it

Performance doesn't lie on the bike, it boost when the ego broke!!

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile...winning's winning..

HI.

FYI. You need to do a IDAC report or go directly to Mitsui (insurer) to report. Where and who did you approach when you report the case?

Since you have received the legal letter, it is wise for you to bring the letter to Mitsui and inform them about it within 14 days from the date of receipt (legal letter). If you need any help, just email me.
