Thanks for the update on W650 FC Vennz, what is the brand of your exhaust? Mail ordered or got it through local motor shop?

It looks a bit smaller than a W650 but the Kawasaki spec sheet suggested only 5 mm difference in wheelbase.

Here's my ex-estrella 250cc in my Poly days(FL1578J) and its a lovely bike to cruise except for that weak sound from the mufflers. Some say it sound like some sewing machine that zoom past...ha ha .

Those r the old days with my estrella during my NP days. Love the nightlife,chicks and biking.Shortly after I have sold off my Estrella, I got into the Old school Thumpers! Initially looking for Red tank XR6 but ended up with a 86' DR600GS edition! I love Thumpers ... some of u guys should try riding or kickstarting some of this Single Cylinder Bikes! The ride is thrilling thought the pain of kickstarting fears some of us. Finally I have mastered kickstarting that Thumper nearly 20mins everyday for nearly 2wks.Until one day ,the thumper failed me at NP slope where the Business block is. Then got the DR6 repaired which costed me $700 plus for a OEM magneto replaced, Scary...

 

After so much of hassle for spares on DR600, I managed to sell off at half the price of what I have paid in all. Then follow up with this great looking muscular one~

Yup,that's me posing on the great looking muscular one . The mighty GS1000s somewhere.... nearly bought the baby after previous attempt to restore but the weight of this GS puts me off. I can call it a 3Tonner n a friend of mine in Malaysia call the GS a PorkY! After some consideration,I gave up the idea of buying over from my friend! Till now I still have the regrets for not buying over.

 

Gd things don't come very often n one day,I stumbled upon this 80s icon bike which crazed by many japanese till now. Appeared in Top Gun with Tom,the well known Ninja(GPz900r) of all but not everyone's cup of tea. Initially I dislike the looks but once a person mounted on. It looks different then...just like Tom Cruise! Ha ha...

Some of u guys may c them before. Presenting to u all, Eugene of Bike Connection who gave some advice and Ah Hock of Combine Motors who helped me to get the Ninja back on road again. I love the ride since then and which y Kawasaki has their slogan~"Let the gd times roll". Some day ,perhaps next yr. My ride will c the orig. color scheme again.

Not yet Marco, Gpz is parked at the company's carpark cos of a lousy gasket used.Sad... but I'm determine to get the GPz back to glory days with Tip top restoration! Bo zai!!!

Dude, better concentrate on your current bikes in your stable. Unless u sell one of them away, otherwise your project will not be able to proceed. Right?

Nope, i dunno the owner.But 3 of friends riding W650.

His asking price is close to a new W650. Which i think is quite ex.

My friends bought the bike new, FW plate OTR at around 13-14k

Shop selling 2nd hand at around 8k

Sorry for the late reply, broke my leg in hospital.

 

I order my full Daiwa Exhaust from Japan as well as handle bars , NRF chain guards etc ... as its cheaper to ship all in a box then separate. Actually is my cousin still working in Japan and sent things back for me.

Sorry for late reply, broke my leg in hospital.

 

A friend from Japan help me to arrange all and he got fer me Daiwa full exhaust (loud model) as I done a modified silencer insert in. As shipping in in a box is cheaper I also got a handle bar NRF chain guard etc...

 

Not sure Mah could help u to mail order or not, think u have to check with them.

 

There many parts in JP like Penton Place, Daytona, Posh, Daiwa, etc... search the web u can find them.

For Japan, they have few low noise and to loud model exhaust for W. As for mine (hehehe) take out silencer will be louder thenz any Harley's slash cut exhaust.

 

My wife bar me from super moto, dunno still can go offroad or not. But will be ok keeping W, sad to me that I will be force to sell off all scrambles hopefully can keep one anyway they are all lay up bikes.

 

Have chances lets have a tour up to thailand. Cheers.
