max fuel capacity(s4)

hi,

i a new vtec 1 rider. but today happen to came across a post from a fellow s4 biker saying he managed to pump 19l into his completely emptied fuel tank in JB.

 

wondering if this is possible as s4 comes with a 18l tank unless he mods. Any other experience bikers can advise me on this? Whether can the fuel capacity exceed the fuel tank?

hi.. i guess u're new guy in SBF ?? haa..

 

i think the guy u referring to is Me ?? if not nvm.. but then i managed to pump 19litres into my Spec3 with V-power..

 

umm.. actually how do i managed to squeeze in 19litres i also duno but the way i pump, usually i don press the 'trigger' fully, i'll only press 1/2 way so lesser 'air' will be pumped into my tank.. with lesser air, more petrol can be pumped in..

 

and btw 19litres with NO SPILLS.. just merely shake and shake.. total time spend on pumping 19litres is abt 10 - 12mins since no cars was behind me during that time.. =)

Yeah i refering to u bro. thxs for the reply.

 

finding the limitation for my bike. if s4 can tahan 1 more litre of fuel which = 23km more for my rid style and that means half way through singapore:}

that time i was just trying my luck how far can my reserve travel.. it seems to me reserve can travel max 70km (safe line)

 

i kinda forget that i was on my reserve on my way to JB, i open vtec when i hit BKE from KJE, in the end my bike stalled at Sg custom so suay.. if not for the vtec at least still can hit Msia shell, just nice.. lol~

 

but my riding style, my full tank before reserve can last me 380km..
