the RFID tags should facilitate them, to allow them to scan instead of key using their handheld device.

from my understanding of RFID, the size of that label should have sufficient range, and i believe even if you keep the RFID disc under the seat, the wardens' handheld device should be able to pickup the tag.

Haha, for the MSCP near my place got only a few bikes. I live in such a bit neighbourhood and there are only a few bikers. The aunty knows each bike in our area. Sometimes they juz scan through only and never check. Cos the season parkers at my place only less then 25 bikes. lolz.

i haven't put my new road tax or season parking papers on my disc since the day i got my bike.. it's been a month and i have no problem about it. but i always keep the documents in a file in my box. they cannot summon you as long as you paid your dues. they have records in their database, there's no need to place them on your bike anymore.

just ytd i got road blocked, first thing they want to see is your license, then your bike insurance and maybe your NRIC.

photocopy and shrink ur insurance down to double the size of atm card. then fold it and keep it inside a clear card holder. u can fold ur roadtax and insert into the clear card holder too. u can also put ur licence inside. keep card holder inside ur wallet. this 3-in-1 method will save u trouble digging at roadblock.

 

but if u still think troublesome, take a picture of ur insurance and roadtax with ur phone camera. if tp request for ur insurance or roadtax, show them the pic in ur phone. but whether the tp buy it or not, i no ganrantee.

 

as regarding the rfid disc, i notice wardens dont bother to walk close to vehicles to detect the signals. why? why bother when wardens can stand far far away and key in the plate numbers to check the season parking validity, unless they see the normal parking coupons.

Was reading the back of the RFID, now it specifies to display it near the roadtax for motorcycles, i.e. we can be fined for not displaying.

On the summon slip, it is under section 18(2) "Parking in season parking device without diaplaying the season parking ticket" -- comes along with $25 fine for bikes.

I have not displayed my RFID tag as it looks very out of place on my bike. Red and white bike put blue tag so ugly. But so far nothing happened nv kenna anything so pray it stays tat way. I think its up to the warden if they want to summon u anot.

i think just display the road tax and the RFID/season parking ticket if you have, then wont get into any trouble with the TP or the warden!

i have not displayed my road tax and season parking for quite a few mths le. but so far no problems.. reason being.. ---my circle holder broke off.

 

 

Anyone knows where to buy the circle holder to hold your road tax and season parking? Will not want to risk going thru the hassle of appealing if got fined.

Buy oso no use . Was summoned by the same warden twice over the weekend for not displaying parking coupon when i have bought my season parking until end dec . Its obvious he is aiming the onli cl2 bike in the carpark .
