Hello my fellow friends, a newbie here.18 yr old just passed.

 

I have a question to ask.

Wanted to change ownership with my cousin, who is riding an fq rxz. Went to NTUC to check out my insurance. The price is abt 1060 and very expensive. That is merely what I know. Hehe. So instead, decided to change plans. Haha he would just add me and was asked to pay about 600+. Hmm so meaning after I pay that amount, I can immediately ride the bike? And does the owner need to be present??

 

And why it is cheaper to add rider? Thanks mannn.......

you can ride the bike as long as u are covered by insuarance .

Adding sub rider means u r not the legal owner of the bike.. Why insurance is cheaper? Cuz your cousin is already covered by insurance already.. What u r paying is just topping up. Cuz now insurance they take the youngest rider's age into consideration..

so does the owner need to be present with me at ntuc branch when doing that thing- add rider, pay all that stuff? or can i just give his ic no. etc etc.??

He need to be there.. If not wrong, required him to sign some documents..

The owner need to be there to sign approval that he wants to add on a subrider.

 

You, the subrider dont need to be there.
