I got a question. I'm currently the sub rider of a vtec 1. Need to renew my insurance and road tax in Nov. Wanna know what's the procedure to change my name to owner and add a new sub rider to my bike. And any idea how much the insurance will cost? Btw i'm 22 this year and have 4 years of riding experience. Thanks.

lta can settle. as for ins, will cost ard 300 for 3rd party and high 300 for 3rd party ft.

So basically i'm supposed to renew my insurance first then go to lta to change the ownership? Btw my previous insurance company was NTUC.

Can I ask something here since its about insurance. My road tax will expire next month, but my insurance is next Aug. So next month just renew road tax? What about insurance, need to renew to coincide with the road tax?

ur bike due for inspection? if not just renew rd tax since ur ins can cover the 6 mths period.

Btw i got one last qn. Since i am the sub rider can i just go to the insurance company and renew my insurance? or does the owner need to be present? what other documents do i need?

i need to renew my road tax which is ending end of this month Nov. but my insurance is till next year end of feb.

 

does anyone knows whether axa allow us to buy only a few months of insurance to tally with the road tax. cos thought of switching to other company if cheaper.

 

i just got my licence this year March so they add $150 more to my insurance. if i want to extend the insurance now instead of next year, will they consider my one year experience and will they include NCD in the calculation?

You can actually go to LTA HQ and ask them to allow you to buy road tax up to your insurance end date.

 

After that if need to go for inspection then can renew all same date

u actually done that? thought normally, will ask us to renew insurance instead of road tax.
