Thanks to everyone's advice. Managed to speak to the person in charge of parking offences finally.

She offered to withdraw the case from court but still have to pay $150 for legal and $100 for the offence. Total $250. Still alot but it's lesser than the $400 I thought I was to pay. Anyway I'm just glad that I don't have to attend court.

They did send me a letter and a reminder I have to add. I wrote in to appeal after the reminder and they confirmed they did receive my appeal and act on it. However, they said they sent me a final reminder to say appeal rejected and when payment was not made by March, they took legal action.

Thanks everyone again.

It's a painful lesson.

yes indeed a painful lesson but frankly speaking from the council's point of view, they did give u a chance to react mah and when they send a FINAL REMINDER how come you nvr do anything abt it?

glad to see tht they willing to let u pay tht amount cause they got choice to tell u to go and attend court & dnt bother them

it seems that the parking lots near mcdonalds are too narrow for class 2 sportbikes. It's manageable if the parking lot available is near the exit of the carpark but if it's deep inside, the rider will have trouble getting their bike out due to the turning angle of a class 2 sportbike.

tampines town council is heartless with no sense of compassion whatsoever. thats all i have to say.

The goal is not to set a fastest lap, it is to eventually win the race.
