Recently saw Honda made changes to the present Hornet 600, am wondering if changes gonna happen on CB1000R as well since its inception in 2008 till now no changes at all... but quite keen on getting one as my replacement.

I doubt there's gonna be a refreshed cb1kr coming up anytime soon bro. Yet to see or hear of rumours of it even. Well, I was in your shoes about a year back till I decided to just pull e trigger and jump e bullet in getring one of these italian inspired mean machines. Never turned back eversince, enjoyed and still looking forward to ride it every time. She's one attention grabbing machine too if I must say. Haha. But I guess to each it's own. Umtimately, your choice bro. Happy hunting ! ^_^

Perhaps I can drop by Looi's motor and acquire on their machine price for this baby.

I seen the actual CB1000R, I'm very surprise that its a liter bike cause visually the construction looks like 400/600cc bike (*sorry for that) very compact in width and not lengthy. Second look at my fat lady (*currently I'm riding the predecessor of CB1000R) astounded! Recently, been flipping through foreign site on CB1000R community many sing praises on the monster outlook and agility! Fantastic all rounder!

Yeah many have mistook it for a 2A or some even, 2B. Haha. I love the compactness of it which make out for its nimbleness. Power wise, it may not stand up to its other litre counterparts but it packs enough power for our streets. Not oo bad either for pillions.

Got mine.from speedway bro. Ya sort of decided to get it?

I need to do some calculations, perhaps along the way might not be able to get it...

at first my intention was on a supersport... but been thinking of practicality and long term a street fighter seems more feasible.

Yeah no rush bro. Financial calculations are impt. Who knows when time is right, a new successor may surface.

I came from a SS before this and I must admit that a street bike is e way to go for long run. No more backaches from long stop go rides, safer pillion posture, better maneuverability while lane splitting and of course the gap in power. I'm sure that this beast can take on the tracks anytime too.
