No probs. Yup mine's with ABS.

hopefully you wouldn't need to use it, but how is it? Compare with traditional bike without ABS.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

Definitely a feature worth having bro. Tried hard breaking with no wheel locks so far. Ain't got e balls to test it's limits though.

any technical issue with the bike so far? Or common problem in CB1000R?

Can always try to do stoppie/endo/rear wheel wheelie. I changed from drz to versys ABS. before I could do stoppie on the versys the ABS already kicked in

Haha owned a DRZ before too. Different experience I must say...

I'd thought the drz would be a closer experience to the cb1000r than the versys. Have always had a soft spot for naked bikes. Yea or the the easy way to activate is to go mscp and press the brake hard and see when it activates lo. It will be way earlier. I'm surprised u haven't felt it by now. Maybe the kawa just has its abs calibrated too early. Zzzz

Surveyed Speedway last month. Saw the HRC and the matte cynos grey I guess. Yup, Raymond quoted 25.8k otr. But Loois bringing in the white one this month in 2 weeks time, 26k otr. But don't know is it metallic or matte one. Anyway Bike Production said 22k w/o insurance and IU. But they need to order.

U guys got any idea of new 2014 colour?

I'm thinking of going Speedway tomorrow to enquire the breakdown.. N see if the matte black is still available.

hmmmm if its a new bike, don't really think there's a need in such changes.... unless they can't meet your personal riding experience.

poison me with your tricolor leh. If I do get I will also get the shoei gt air journey tri color helmet. Seems like 2014 z1000 is winning me over.

z1000 also one of my choices but when i think of mileage..i think cb1000r better.. my thought of buying a class 2 bike is that the bike should be at least able to ride above 200km and above.. and top speed is not my concern..

but if u like more speed and dun care abt mileage then z1000 suits u i guess.. so far my bike still running is able to tahan me monday till friday travelling to my workplace..

Any wdls cb1000r riders? i saw one tricolour once..

tat one need to ask our seniors riders here.. mine still running in.. but according to my research since i passed my class 2 license.. cb1000r can go 220km..tat is if u re not a hell rider always keep speeding one.. to me a class 2 bike tat can go more than 200km is quite gd already.. z1000 less than 200.. same as fazer1..

previously when i met one of the ex riders of cb1000r last yr..he says if i ride less than 100 or lesser we can go further.. but then this bike cannot ride below 100.. i think cb1000r cruising speed 120 above ah.. i'm still getting use to the speed.. i ride 100 90 cannot ah.. the bike like not smooth.. it wants me to speed up.. lol! maybe coz still running in so all the F.I and engine haven fully maximise its potential.. ard 220km then our bike hit reserve..

Fuel wise i have yet to try others types. .shell 95 i can hit ard 220km.. then i tried caltex frm j.b.. (97 i think) tat one i think i can manage to go above 220 coz i filled up yesterday even though still got one bar left and the mileage was 218km..

Ride for our loves ones..
