rims for sale? repair?

suggestion for dented rims.

 

hit a big rock.front right rim dented.

 

haiz.

 

dunno whether wanna send for press and spray or buy a 2nd hand rim.

 

 

suggestions? plus the cost for getting a 2nd hand rim,front and back.

 

and cost for repairing both front and back rim..

last time my rims also got dented cos i ran over kerb.. nt paying attention 2 the rd...

i sourced in the forum. then found that if u wan 2 get new rims, it will set u back by 3-400 per rim. Nt cheap, these things...

Alternatively, if u wan 2 get rims, then find a scrap yard dealing in these. Nt very sure on hw 2 help, cos i didnt try, only heard b4. Or u can ask those selling their old bikes. Like that time, got 1 guy crashed his bike, but rims still intact. He asked me if i wan, sell me ard 150 per rim.

In the end, i went 2 my mechanic at speedway motor(bukit batok). He sent my rims 4 pressing n he help me respray them. cost iz 75 per rim.

i just change my front rim last week..went over a wooden block on the expressway..cause my front rim to warp a bit...went to motordiam to inspect..but was advised that crack line will form when pressed..still i go ahead with the pressing, true enuff, i can see the crack line after pressing..was advised by the mechanic better to change to a new one due to safety reason and also air may leak from the crack..somemore the colour they spray after pressing will no longer be the same as original..so decided to change to a new rim..damage is 500 for the rim..

Just had an accident, front rim dented, got a second-hand @ S$ 200.00. Very good condition. But mine is version S.
