Currently the battery have die off, thus currently can only view but will send for servicing if buyer is willing to buy and will service the bike to its functional state.

 

Its either sell to shop or to someone that needs it. All engine good and running well before the battery went dead (Too long didn't ride) And under shelter and covered all time. The Chrome parts are abit tarnished, but it will shine back if you clean with chrome cleaner.

Phantom is a good bike to go around easily and comfortable. Don't include the bad weather that Singapore have. It will be a job to ride in this phantom.

Alot of people asked me that they wanted to test ride the bike before making a decision, but I explained saying that I don't wish to replace the battery just for the sake of test riding and eventually have to service again if I "house" it for too long.

 

I know the degree of concern but I like to highlight a point to any buyer.

 

For any buyer that are interested and sincere in buying, an agreement will be drawn out to protect you and me. This agreement will state that I am responsible for all the repair charges to make the bike into its functional condition, meaning spark plug, engine oil, battery, and any other that need to replace that is not functioning well.

 

The buyer can then "test ride" the bike around the bike shop for checking on the spot with the people from the workshop as judges. So that you get a serviced bike, ready to go, and no worries.

 

Any disrupt, can discuss on the spot, I not a unreasonable person, I hope the buyer also.

 

This is my promise for not servicing the bike now and only when someone interested, then we can talk.

 

I prefer to let go my bike to someone that love this bike like I do and not being picky for things.

 

If I can make the bike into this look, why won't I take care of the bike?

just one reminder to you bro.. only those under ur insurance cert can ride the bike.. and that means.. bike is only for you and sub rider. u cant let anyone "test ride" (legally) unlike car insurance.

So to those buyers, I understand your concern, but some of you should know about this existing rule. Any bike test (illegally) is on the risk of the seller and not the buyer.

 

Anyway, when the buyer "test ride" at the bike shop, all the transfer should also be done while the repairs are made and he/she will be safe to ride the bike anyway when we reach back to the workshop

Just for update that, payment to be made before the transfer is completed.

 

Reason: Simple, once the bike is transferred, it will be under the new rider's name. And if the buyer not willing to do the payment, or cut the price, there is no way that I can reverse the transfer.

 

The procedures are very simple, meet at LTA, take the number, fill up the forms, wait in queue, do the payment, finish off the transfer. I won't come up with any excuses to go toliet or walk away, the buyer can hold on to me under the transfer is finished, I won't mind.

2. Change engine oil every 1800 to 2300km

3. Change spark plug every 5000km

4. Only pump at Caltex (Techtron 95, 92), trust their cleansing efficient

5. Chain changed June 2009

6. Front Steering Cone bearing early 2009

7. Rear Pump Kit changed end 2008

 

Other Accessory: 2 saddle bags + 1 Kappa top box (42 litres)

 

Reason for Selling:

1. Want to change to smaller bike (wave, spark, X1 etc.) before coming inspection in Aug 2010. I want to have a better fuel saver bike (Woodlands to Changi South vice versa daily)

2. Front tyre need to change before inspection (I have been using the new front tyre for 4 years ++ already since under my proper care.)

 

Bike fallen twice at very slow speed (Once in MSCP on slippery smooth surface, the other on road travelling mid rain at 30+km/hr), so only surface scratches, nothing else affected.

For the benefit to everyone, I forget to mention that this bike also comes with a windscreen that I took out and hide it. But it will be given to this guy also. If ever I can dig out the old photo of it with windscreen, I post it here.

Remarks: Tires and Chain are 1 year old, 7000km and in good condition. Bike has been regularly serviced. Engine in good condition, hits 120 easily. Best/quietest performance around 90-100Km/hr.

 

Problems : slightly loud due to an exhaust hole, easily fixed. Speedo needle is broken but works fine. All minor repairs I would have done myself, but don't have the time, hence the low price
