Wah for a while I thought I was in the movie Finding Forrester.

So any meet up? Perhaps we would need to meet at National Library :) On the other hand, everyone must be busy preparing for spring cleaning and ready for what next year (lunar) would bring.

Hi bro Honda Rider,

I am entralled always by your writing or thoughts expressed in supportive, factual and interesting manner.

Let me ask you openly: with a penchant for writing well, have you thought of journalism as a unforbidden path that's reserved for few.

Thank you for your humourous review of my bike - unsolicited - about my wife (bike) - it is supportive I think, and not that you are making a dig at me?. My wife (woman of my life) had said that I love my bike more than her. Of course, I swore my eternal love for her for the sake of peace and tranquility on earth!

Thank you, bro! :) :) :)

Thank you Bro Resilience,

Journalism is a profession that has never cross my mind at all, and further more it is not my cup of tea.

I am very down to earth and satisfied with what I have and enjoy every minute of it.

Riding is my passion ( not writing ) and reviews on bikes and oversea trips by bikers are my hobbies too.

Well, anyway for all riders who may want to venture out with their machines, this is a very good site

for your reference.

Maybe 1 day any one of us may need it or others might want to share their reviews.

I didn't ride my bike for a couple of days during the CNY period and the battery went dead..

So took out my newly bought ESI 12000 intelligent charger (Korean Made).

Was surprised that the battery was fully charged after 1 hour..

Checked with voltmeter show 12-13 volts..

Next day fixed back to bike and fired up with no problem...

then on the 3rd day.. symptom comes again.. luckily on 3rd try fired up.....

OK don't play play liao... time to replace the battery..

Went to Eunos Ind and find that it cost a bomb... $175 for Yuasa YTZ-14S

From what I know, the brakes are the main difference. Otherwise looks the same, maybe different colour available and hinges on the panniers:

V2 was revamped in 2002. Larger-capacity panniers (left capacity increased from 18 to 24 litres; right capacity increased from 16.7 to 19.5 litres) with more secure cover latches and hinges were fitted. The engine was overhauled with lighter pistons and other engine modifications to reduce vibration. A catalytic converter was fitted to ensure compliance with the stricter EU emissions laws. A combined braking system was fitted and the front brakes were upgraded to 3-piston calipers.

v1: Brembo brakes, external pannier hinges.

v2: Nissin combined brake system (front and rear are linked), internal pannier hinges.
