I heard that aftermarket fairings are available for the NT700 in some countries, to transform the NT700 into a fully-faired tourer! Anybody know where we can find this in Singapore?

Hello. Just bought a Deauville NT650 from a forumner about a month ago. The bike is quite well maintain (exterior and engine). The bike battery died on me 3 times. Each time after trying the start button 3 times (about 10 secs), the battery will go completely flat. Suspected that the cause could be battery and bought it to Loois motor. Mechanic told me battery cannot make it liao. Was quoted $100 !! Bo pian....have to change lor.

Any brother here knows how much an original battery cost in other places?

i think stock original batteries cost a lot more. remember my friend telling me his FZ600 original battery cost 180. :giddy:

Resolution for 2009, stay healthy, get wealthy, make more friends, ride safely & pass all exams!

Wow $180 is a lot. Anyway the battery change solved my bike problem.

My NT650 about 20km/L. Somehow I find that using Shell 98 seems better than Esso 98. :cheeky:

Wow... that's very good, small drinker. class 2 bike but 2A drinker. :thumb:

So far I had tested the deauville 700 at a speed of 200kmph in a straight road towards Phuket. It still can go on for a little bit more, but due to some side wind, just managed to hold on to that speed.

Not bad for this bike, as I saw on the review it show top speed 179kph which is a bit turn off, cos ridding Super 4 now and it get abt 190kph when in 2nd link. :cheeky:

Not a speed freak cos too old for that but do enjoy the wind, BTW can the windscreen be replace by a higher one just like GD wind? hate the wind slap on the face. :sian:

dont have to change the windscreen bcos once u have adjusted to the high position, there are totally no wind blowing at your face at all!!! unless u are 1.9meter tall then u can feel the wind blowing at your face only.

Just to share something about the deauville. Been riding it for a year now.

Boon siew did not manage to sell any deauville I think. They have one sitting on a platform in their showroom. But their sales pple say they bring in for demo only.

Hence, Boon siew do not support the deauville (no parts, accessories) the last time I went there.

I had a hard time looking for the Air filter. So far, I only know Mah have.

Anyone bought the air filter from any other shop?

There is no KNN after-market air filter for the deauville yet.

I haven't need to change the tires and brake pads yet. Current mileage is 17000km.

Riding can be a safe, fun filled activity for everyone :thumb:
