I guess that anyone would also love to have a cool cool pipe. But we're in SG, where the land of uncle Sam rules...

what is the tool? i might wanna try cut one plastic container by half from side like those in workshops. but any better idea would be appreciated.

i think what bro RxzDelux meant was using a tool ( wrench ) to loosen the nut below to drain out the used engine oil.

If I'm not wrong, the tool should be Size 17, or it should come together as a orginal tool if u had bought the bike new.

I always change the engine oil myself since last time when i ride bikes. Buy one tool for the drain plug and u can use it for a lifetime. Very worth it.

i have the stuff, stashed in the seat bottom. but how to collect the old oil? use the cut container right? or cut one big bottle of coke will do. it can contain 1.5l so if i cut top portion, still can keep 1l at 60 or 70 degree angle lor.

too bad my house near by no caltex, i am keen to try their havoline.

i guess for wave fully synthetic is not necessary and may do ur engine more harm than it does good. as far as i've learnt, fully synthetic suits big bikes more they have filters in the engine, if small bikes like cubs without filters use the high viscousity oil will make the debris no way to dissolve or move down to the base and get stuck in the engine, making wear easily in the compartment.

I don think so dat fully synthetics cause harm to the wave engine. I have tried from the lowest SAE40 , mineral, semi and fully. What I experience is dat fully can have extended drain intervals. I used fully till 4000km then I change. Works wonderful...

Anyone knows what size is the wrench for the drain plug?

Any particular type to buy?

Does the orginal tools comes with it?

Your original tools comes with it but it is an Open-face spanner size 14 - 17. Not very good though.

More advisable to buy Box Spanner size 17 with the handle. More stable. Open face spanner might spoil your hexagon sides of the nut. The Box with the handle can be bought from any hardware shop which sells tools.

:goodluck: in searching.
