this one --->CPR7EA-9 (NGK) or U22EPR9 (DENSO)

i suppose the numerical values in the 2 different spark plug models plus indicate the rating of the spark produced

if i were u i would choose the one w/ the higher rating

Denso is better cause of the patent U-groove that prevents quenching of the spark. It creates a better spark with the U-groove!

For those of u who hav the Wave manual, the LAST Page indicates Honda recommends Honda 4T (JASO MA 40). I guess SAE 40 is recommended for Honda Wave125 cause the manual shows that! Anyway the manual is in thailand language, i can just understand the picture with the Honda 4T and Jaso MA 40.

I think MINERAL engine OIL is more than enough for Honda Wave! The manual indicates that Minimal is SAE40 with(JASO MA) certification. So u still can use that IDEMITSU mineral engine oil. Just stick to the recomended interval drain period or change once u feel it turns sluggish!

I guess rough figure is around 3000km right?

took me quite some time to loosen my drain plug using the short spanner in the tools kit....no strength ah!! :faint:

do monograde oil have the semi-syn or fully-syn categorisation one or not?

what brand of monograde did u use?

hmmmz....wondering if it's possible to use those SAE40 oil which are used for diesel engines for our bikes?

hmmmz....wondering if it's possible to use those SAE40 oil which are used for diesel engines for our bikes?

The answer is ABSOULUTE NO! cause that does not have a JASO MA ceritification! For our bikes we need JASO MA certification engine oils!
