anyway ppl, me wondering how's u ppl's wave mileage. mine V-power full tank roughly 160km (left 2 bars). trying 92 now..

 

wat petrol is recommended for wave ah ?? use octane level too low one will anything happen ??

 

 

thinking of designs for my wavey.. mine's blue btw.

 

thinking of a beach design. roxy, baby blue roxy flowers all ard.

 

 

cos my fairings still very new.. when i'm tired of blue... hehehe.....

last time insurance under my dad's name w/ >20 years of riding experience age 50+ for FW plate 3rd party w/ 5% NCD = $219

kind of exp....

could get a 2nd party w/ 5% NCD at the same price for FT plate SP before that

 

but i guess the higher premium is due to the bike is newer lar

i've been using SPC92 since i got my wave...roughly about 180km, everytime top up about 3.2 to 3.4litres, but i nvr cross 180km before....

 

i tend to pump 3 x SPC92 followed by 1 x SPC98....cos SPC gives 10% discount anytime,any station mah....i nvr try any Shell before....tried Mobil92/95....no diff to SPC...tried Caltex Platinum once...very shiok...but very ex too...anyway...as long as my bike can move can liao....i dont really care.

 

I also tot of changing my wave to some design leh...maybe when we meet up (successfully) can discuss togather....

This morning I was stopped by a ROV for some mods. I mention to him about the front basket illegal issue and he told me that he is not aware that there's such thing of them fining riders for putting front baskets. He told me we cannot anyhow listen to motorshops or people. ??? But i tot someone mention they got caught n fine before for the front basket thingy?

 

That ROV gave me a number 1800-2255582 (V. E Dept) to enquire regarding any modifications on the bike.

 

I think next time if anyone really got stop and the TP or ROV stop you and catch you for anything, they will have a file/handbook with all the rules inside. They will have to show you that sentence or clause. For me because this is my 1st time get stop for illegal mods, then I know that. For eg, he show me the drawings of the the correct size of the number plate, he even took out his measuring tape.

 

So do be aware in case u get fine for front basket issue.

hmm.. i also want to support Singapore petrol !! but the nearest SPC stn to my house is bt timah rd, nearest Hwa chong.. to and fro all the petrol waste liao..

 

wat u mean SPC always 10% ?? any petrol at any kiosk ??

yup, from 01Aug04 onwards, all SPC station patrol got 10% discount for Safra Card holder, OCBC credit card also started on 01Jan04....but i think Bt Timah and Commonwealth for 11%.

 

Caltex Platinum is at about $1.5++ same class as Vpower....the engine sound is quieter and pickup was better...but i only pump once as that time my tank almost empty and its the nearest i can find.

everyday around 3pm plus ROV road block will be held out...

its located at newton circle along the way toward kk hospital..

stopping all bike,car n lorry for check ofcoz some will be given lucky draw ticket la.

its aready there for 3 days liao same located n time so BEWARE.....
