hi every1 here....might be getting a gsr 400 but its not soon,sumtime ard this yr....btw roughly a second hand gsr plate FBA how much the rate is for now??as i gt a quotation for at least 10+k,everymth 200+ for 5 yrs worth it??COE left 7yrs.

 

How bout the maintanence,easy or kinda problematic??FC??

1) SW-Motech side racks for GSR (only GSR 400/600).

Geman engineering at its finest. What seperates this rack from other brands is you can fit several brands of sideboxes, panniers, lockable softcases and even a small fuel container on it. Plus it can be quick-removed to preserve that weekend streetfighter look and just as quickly remounted for the weekday luggage-bearing function.

Almost complete set with all the bolts, screws and nuts required.

Currently with Givi & H&B adaptors for use with Givi or H&B sidecases.

I got mine FBB 10.5k. Maintenance wise i dont know, FC wise I dont know because it is my first tank. Problem? Yet to find out because it is my first day. Hoping to learn more about this bike too.

its the givi rack. remove the supporting rods below and base plate.

 

there are already mounting holes on the rack. i just align and drill onto the box. and viola~

Anyway the Givi rack iz it metal or plastic? Coz really wanna mount like yours. If its metal, I will go ahead with the mini project

the bottom part is a metal piece. pretty solid imho.

 

problem i foresee is the 3 bolt that is holding it down. not sure if they can take any more weight if its missing out the supporting rod below.

 

and also, for now, the current box is not waterproof. im still looking for a better box that is waterproof but not so costly.

Yes, without the supporting rods, it may not hold any more with. Metal tends to flex and bend.

 

One way u can waterproof it is to use sealant and rubber linings...that is the cheapest method.

 

Another is to get a waterproof box like Otto or Pelican.

can add in the supporting rods but tt kills the overall look.

 

any idea what box is TP using?
