i just went to shop to tune my idling. i saw the mechanic just squeeze his hand through at the left side of our bike under the tank

Remove the left side cover, the black plastic which is held up by 3 hex bolts (Only for GSR 400) and reach upwards till you find a screw that is shaped like a gear.

Turn it clockwise to increase idling and anti clockwise to decrease idling. Ensure that the bike is warm before adjusting.

Optimal idling is at 1.1k to 1.3k as recommended.

Looks something like this.

Ya, I decided to go Unique where the previous owner always service the bike. Not that cheap, but OK la considering I'm quite noob with DIY bike servicing. Haha. Thanks, bro!

I ever tried to bleed my front brakes on my previous bike, follow according to procedures from both google and friends well... It went haywire, lever can be completely depress to the handlebars, if you're doing it the first time, I suggest you go to a bike shop to do and observe how the mechs do it, might save you the hassle if it doesn't turns out well, i don't know if you feel confident enough go ahead, you might succeed!

Oh, are you referring to the clutch housing only for the 400c? Remove that one can see the idling screw already?

The cover is black in colour. It is in between the seat and the main body frame which is silver colour in the pic given by lex. U gotta take out ur seat first in order to take out that cover. But for me aft open the cover still can't reach the screw. Manage to use + screw driver and go in fr the gap 45 degree.

I've managed to locate and adjust the idling screw! All I did was remove the clutch plastic housing for the 400cc and with a lil bit of gymnastic, BAM! Saw a + screw and gave it a twist. However removing the side cover which is below the seat running across the frame does not give access to the screw, just need to open the clutch housing will do.

I swear to reach the idling screw I bend till I almost lie on the floor -.-

Hello fellow GSRians... it's been awhile since I logged in here. Hope you guys are enjoying your GSR rides... I sure miss my trusty GSR.

Anyway, I have a spare fuel tank which is sitting inside my storeroom and I am wondering if anyone here needs it?

I am offering it at $250 because there is a small dent on it because of the previous incident of a delivery truck which knocked down my bike at the carpark. Give it to the bike shop for knocking and repainting will cost $900.

Color is maroon red.

Cheers.

Bought for $8k flat for 2006 registered GSR600 about ~3 mths ago from seller on this forum. 100% stock except KNN air filter, Motovation frame, front and rear sliders and H&B top rack PLUS H&B topcase. I guess its pretty basic compared to bro ryanryanryan's deal.

Ride Free, Ride Hard, and Ride Safe.

Current ride:Hyundai i30 CW (Sept 2016 - Present)

Yamaha FZ1-S (Aug 2014 - Present)

Previous ride: Honda Tiger 200 (Oct 2009 - Jun 2012)

Suzuki GSR 600 (Jun 2012 - Sept 2013)

Anyway, not that I have ever had a craze about aftermarket exhausts, I'm just curious: Does yoshi, LV, etc upzzz the oomphh factor (in terms of sound and bike's performance) on the GSR600 (or GSR400 for that matter), or issit just something that u spend $$$ for eye pleasure??
