Remove the seat, under that you can see the batt. Disconnect the negative (black) wiring first, then the positive (red). Do not do it the other way around, if you're disconnecting the red first and your tool slips and touches the chasis/frame/ground, you'll short the batt. For connecting the battery, reverse, red first then black.

If you have multiple wires connect to the ground/positive terminals, use black tape to bundle them up for easier reconnecting later (so you don't accidentally miss out on a wire during reconnection). Also, when I went overseas for 3mths, I disconnected the stock battery, placed it on a wooden table and coated the terminals in dielectric grease cuz was paranoid about humidity leading to slightly faster discharge. Cleaned it off with contact cleaner before reinstalling it.

3mths later, reinstalled and managed a few solid cranks to get the bike going. Lasted yet another few mths before replacement. Think battery has been in the bike for 4yrs total.

got a spare beep me up at 91151284 for the rim

thanks for the rim fx.. now i realise that the front wheel is also affected. Cant see with naked eye but can feel the vibration at about 80-90km/h. Balancing helped a bit but still not good enough. Was wondering if any one has a spare front wheel to let go? Can't post in garage WTB so trying my luck here...

could be your IU unit... try holding on to the cover and see if the rattle disappears

'What's the traffic police test to you? Just a test right? Fail also nevermind, just keep re-taking till you pass. However, the real test is on the road, once failed, there is no chance of re-taking it anymore. Let's all ensure that we will continue to pass that test.'
