went to racewerks yesterday and they told me that come 1st august, maxima engine oils prices will be increased by 20%

 

has anyone heard of this price increase anywhere else?

Someone(mr who... from this forum) ... spotted it and told me to cover it up.. so I am wondering why it is exposed like this... is this normal? Can I use black tape to tape/cover it ... or should I go to bikeshop to let the mechanic adjust the rubber tubing to cover it up? It seems that the rubber tubing has slipped off ...

is there no other oil to use except that brand???

why is it that everyone in this forum keeps repeating that brand???

just use any oil that you can affird lah!!! is not going to damage your bike!!!

unless some joker go and cut that wire, there is no way that wire will get damaged...

ermz... that wire cant be exposed because i have a few friends saying that, that wire cant be exposed because its the part where is linked to ur engine to tell you how hot ur bike is.. unless ppl disturb you... think u can use wire tape to tape beck...

whats wrong with exposing a few wires? take a look at any bikes... see how many wires are expose... then every bikers will be busy taping up wires whenever they buy a new ride???

That is what I am afraid... some jokers might come and cut that wire ... it looked so thin and easily breakable... even with a slight tuck... I think the wire will come loose...

Something like this maybe small... but I do not want to give chances to things like this... small wires like this can lead to bigger problem if not fixed...

You're right about wires being exposed here and there... but this wire I am talking about supposed to be covered with rubber tubing... and somehow the rubber tubing got pushed back.. and I believe they put a rubber tubing there for a purpose ... so I will go to my mech and get them to fix it for me...

 

I posted this question and photo so that others will also take notices... if it can happen to me ... it might happen to others ... if they want to fix it .. or not .. it's up to them...

 

Actually ... taping up the whole bike with wire tape(a.k.a Black Tape-common term used in the army)looks cool ... like a ninja bike ... stealth bike ...

i myself also riding gsr wad. my friends riding b-king and they told me that, that wire is important. some wire that are exposed out of the wire rubber is not good.. dont tell me when ur house the rice cooker wire expose u dont tape back?

have already notice this wire 2 yrs ago... all GSR is like that...

the tubing will end 1 inch short of the sensor. even if you tape it up, it can still be cut if people wants to cut it. there is so many wires for them to cut!!!

 

how about warping it up with bandage??? the Mummy Bike!!!

i dun think Suzuki will save 1 inch of tubing on a machine that cost 13k on sg roads...all wires are important, but i dun think exposing it will cause any problems... unless its dangling around or rubbing against any moving parts, then i'm worried...

 

there is something you guys should be worrying about now, the gear position sensor will somethimes give you TOTO numbers, and if its not working, then you cant start your bike. so watch out...

anyway regarding wires, yup nothing wrong with it being exposed. but when the copper wire starts to appear then you can go ahead and cover it up. for me, i use shrinkable sleeves.

i got mine from motoworld. i got a year ago at $120. but according to fauzi, he told me ermax prices are increasing when i bought my bellypan the other day.
