you could use a measuring cup...

what i used to do was use a 100ml measuring spoon......

or use one of those cough medicine bottles that you get from the doctor... they are graduated in 10ml I think.

So, of you pump 4 litres, put 2%, max 3% oil in which will be either 80 or 120ml

i usually just put in 2% which works out to be 20ml per 1L of petrol.

anyways, itsonfire says if he uses autolube,he uses up oil at a faster rate, about 1 bottle per week....

2% per litre of petrol..which if you calculate adds up to 2% of the whole tank....

just measure 20ml of oil per 1 L of petrol.....

2% means for every 1litre of petrol, pour in 20ml of 2T with the cough medicine bottle

you do the maths.

 

i usually round up (or top a bit more), say 5.28ltr of petrol, i will put in 120ml, which works out to be 22% (if you want to be so mathematical). Rule of thumb, try not to go below 2% or above 3%.

 

since i got no idea how big your 2T bottle is, my guess is you've been putting in too much, which explains the smoke. no worries, try to run the present fuel in your tank low before topping up with gas and 2% of 2T.

that will be 250ml, way too much for your scoot, unless you have a super extra large fuel tank. haha

get a calibrated container when pouring your 2T, to get the right mixture. a bit tedious, but necessary.

 

get those 240ml cough medicine bottle =)

qn....where do you get the cough bottles???do you measure in when you wanna pour the oil into your tank or do you just store the oil in the bottle?
