1 way alarms is common but 2 way alarms, I heard of 3 common types within SBF threads: - Scorpio, Steelmate & one german type TG502.

Scorpio is about $400, steelmate & the german one is about $160..

Errm... lemme see...

1) Rear hugger

2) Belly pan

3) Mugen decals + plastic plated parts (cosmetics)

There you have it... thats about all... everything else in stock condition...

With regards to price, I got my bike first hand last year. Total payable amount (everything add in): S$14,800++

Right now I'm still paying installments of S$317.90/month, left 29 more months = S$317.90 X 29 = S$9,219.10

If I sell back bike shop, I confirm won't get anything back, maybe still have to pay penalty. So I'm looking for a private seller, hopefully I get a certain sum back. Sell back to bike shop very the "lugi" as you can see. Almost lose S$5,000 in just one year... :giddy:

Anyways, if you're interested to get a new spec III, go ask around various bike shops. Once you have a comparison of the quotations given by them, come back to me if you're interested to do a deal (if you dun mind used bike). No obligation lah. We can try to work something out cos' my bike only clocked 6000+km so far, as good as new lah really.

And I did my sums already. Unless I can find a private seller and get some money back, chances are, I won't give up this bike, however much I like the VFR...

Hope this answers you!

Ok sure... Will let u knoe again...

When u pass ur class 2, update mi also :D

Oh btw, have you ask ur bikeshop whether will there be any complications in transfering of ownership during hire purchase period and the possibility of the new owner taking over ur loan, or he/she have to do a reloan? Any charges involved?

Folks,

I'm selling off my Hornet 600. I bought it in Jan 2005, it's a FY plate, got 16,000km, brand new tires.

I will place an ad soon. In the meantime, if anyone knows of anyone that's looking for a Hornet, please let me know? Can reach me in this thread, my SBF email or my direct email on [email protected]

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference
