Now that we've gone to JB, and then to Malacca. Next stop logically should be KL. Then Penang, and finally Thailand or even beyond!!!

 

Anyone onzz with that idea??

The idea is good, but not everyone can do longer trip, I mean spending 2-3 days like that. Places like Cameron, Penang need at least stay one nite to feel the fun, else will be too rush.

we still haven cover Air papan & Mt Ophir 2nd tier waterfall.

:cheeky: wa yr eyes very sharp... skali the checkpoint is a locked gate with sentry guarding it. But dun worry , each of us give RM5 , shld be enuff to bribe him.

:smile: Here's the pics.

The weather was hot & sunny except for a heavy raining at about 5pm when I & PKTan were already sitting in a coffee shop next to our favourite anime shop.

 

We had our early lunch/breakfast at 11am at kulai - at a place which specialised in beef noodles. Then we went straight for the lake. From between the trunk road which connects kulai & mersing, we turned left and search for the road to the lake. For about 15min, we had to ride slowly on a stretch of sandy road full of pot holes. When we reached the lake, we were dissappointed that the guard dun allow us to enter. The lake is actually a reservoir owned by Spore government. It is fully fenced up. We were told by the guard we can't enter coz his boss is here to investigate a accident - a truck overturned.

 

But outside the fence, there was a discharged of water through a sluice gate or dam & people are fishing there. We were told that there's lots of toman fish there. We also saw trucks entering the reservoir through another side gate in the far distance. So we tried searching for the alternative entrance ; but alas we can't find it :( How disappointing.

 

Anyway the trip was still fun & interesting.

btw, our next destination is either Air Papan or Mt Ophir 2nd tier waterfall. Watch this space :smile:
