I also had an incident, a very embarassing one. Yesterday came back and decided to go for a ride downtown to buy printer ribbon. Got a bit of traffic jam so was manouvring between vehicle when suddenly the car infront stopped and closed the gap so had o stop but was in a turn so lost balance and bike lay down! sh*t! Tailboard struck truck bumper and as engine cover and exhaust got scratched! I could immediately hear Kennethy say "I told you". Now managed to polich of most of the scratch on engine cover, repray exhaust and yes Kennethy, I immediately took out the egine guards from my storeroom and installed them.

Now gotta go look for seven different flowers.

Thanks bro for your kind concern. I am perfectly fine cos it was a stationary drop, only my ego was bruised. Kennethy has urged me to fix the guards simply for this reason but I din quite like the looks so stashed it into my storeroom, but after yesterday, the guards are on and must, looks okay la. Thanks everyone.

Howdy all!

I've just reached home actually... Just came back from Motoworld there to fix a few things...

Had installed heavy balancers, a new type of belly-pan, carbon-fibre-lookalike sticker for my fuel tank cover and a change of engine-oil plus oil-filter...

Now it looks more gorgeous! :cheeky: :lovestruck:

Hee hee... :cheeky:

Wah! Bro union, you already fixed the belly-pan and hugger har? Actually was intended to fix the hugger but somehow was thinking that it really had no purpose other than cosmetic appearence... I mean, it'll help you to prevent water from spinning up from the rear wheel to the back seat meh?...

Anyway, I've taken a few photos of my bike and bro hanzeng, do take note of the pics of the balancers on the steering bar and belly-pan in the next few "slides"...

Picture of belly-pan... Note that this new type of belly-pan, as what the sales person Nick at Motoworld would had me know is that, it is more closely conformed to the exhaust header pipes than the previous version, thus allowing more clearance... $60 with installation @ Motoworld...

Opps... sorry forgot to include price for the balancers... $30 with installation @ Motoworld...

Going to get the belly pan next, but people say its more of a hassle and a pain in the ass because when changing oil, it is very troublesome... bah!

Hi one and all!

Well bro hanzeng, the balancers are more heavier than stock balancers thus giving you a more stable and balanced ride. Also for the fact that it's actually slightly a bit more longer than stock, it'll be able to protect the bike's fuselage better should if accidentally drop the bike or something like that.....

Oh shoot... :slapforehead:

Only now then I realise my stupid mistake.....

The picture which I list for balancers is actually belly-pan whereas the picture for belly-pan is actually the balancers.....

How silly of me to mix up the pictures and label them differently..... :giddy:

discovered the handlebar was bent due to the impact as well but my hubby & i tugged and pulled & pressed til it's better otherwise when handlelocked, the right brake level would hit the mirror...now it's almost close to the original state.
