Hi,

Anyone can advise what's the requirement/specifications of the tubing used in our petrol lines, oil (2T) or hydraulic (brake fluid container to brake pump)lines?

Are the clear type (PVC) of tubing found in commmon hardware shop safe to use?

If not, where to buy such rubber tubing? I need to cut my own length for some modifications.

Tks!

hansen

Should use only those suitable for oil and petrol products. Can be brought from motor spare parts shops along Sim Meng road. They are usually black in color. Cut in length either in feet or metre.

You mean the industrial estates near LTA?

Is it the same material for hoses used for compressed air?

I see...I guess so too cos when I put petrol in those spray or use normal PVC tube to blled my brakes, the tubing deterioate quite fast.

problem is where to get them...
