thanx alot for waiting for me. so sorrie to trouble you all.

i was heading back to tuas, riding at 160+km/h at 11 000rpm. start to full trottle, all of sudden, like 'powercut' at 12 000rpm and pull back to 9 000rpm. bo power all ready, engine showing symptom of piston seize at the custom. ssianzzz..

push the bike down the flyover. tried to start, can start but very low idling. last time, idling 1200rpm, now, 300rpm. i tried to ride the bike back with team honda at the back at 60km/h. somehow and somewhere, the bike got it's power back and i was riding at 80-90km/h all the way back home.

thanx alot team honda, eric, andrew and kaiwen for the escort.

tmr, open up the tank and i will see the problem. maybe, carburator. 4 exhaust header are hot

Draught, Manzz, Zai and Jap and their pillons too tired liao la, so they went back first ma.

Apologies can't help this time as I've my assignments to take care of. But we know Musso was not alone because you two are with him ma. Its a relieve that he can still ride it back.

Hello ESR, how are you guys and gals? I'm sorry I couldn't find time to meet up with all of you as I'm really swarmed with my gigantic project.

Chaochao, thanks for the invitation last week at Mak's place but I was really down with a bad flu that I only managed to pull myself to the clinic.

I do hope to catch up with all of you sometimes, and as well how's boss Royston doing?

Hey man... no worries, we all have our priorities... so long as you dun forget us, just ping when you have to time to join. Still enjoying your gilly? Take care of your health (dun smoke too much).

Yah - maybe repair liao then tune down your riding style to preserve the bike. Or change to a smaller CC bike (Gilera?) while you save up for the next "big thing". Sometimes we get carried away in our jokes about upgrading, but don't be pressured la.

Ok - I feel i've to do the AL job reiterating following again:

---------------------------------------------------------------

While it feels great to upgrade, we also have to live within your affordability. Don't get yourself into a situation where you upgrade a new bike but can't use it fully coz not enough $$.

Or worse, getting yourself in a situation where you have to borrow from others. :nono: Not only does it inconvenience others, but it is not a healthy practice. Biking is not the only thing; we have friends and family; career and personal achievements.

If you ever take a bike loan and thinking of stretching it, make sure your bike is worth the keep. Or else settling the loan prematurely will end up huge loss.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Bet you already know the above points. You have been survived well by Lana... hope you able to troubleshoot what happen to your Lana (cake).

Of course it's not necessary to... Cos yammies do not need to prove anything. There's just simply no need to... Only those riding it will know what a fantabulous bike it is...

Whether or not it supersedes the rest, well... ... up to you to decide. If you've never ridden a yammy, how would you know it's lousy eh?

Just like how people always ask... Do nice/good guys finish last? cos it seems they do, and that's what people are always saying... But only the nice/good guys would know they don't... same for bikes.... only the yammies would know that a good bike do not finish last, even tho it seems like it does...

Remember how people always say? eh... Nan ren bu huai, nui ren bu ai... same theory la.... people like all the rest of the other bikes simply cos it's bad/ lousy... 'nuff said man...

wah - so long ah... but hor ... tallllk so much in the end - didn't even bring your hamaya last nite... left your fellow hamaya to stand alone (but he tall la, bike also tall, so never mind .... kekkekek).

That's cool... let's continue to give our reviews here:

Using Scale 1 to 5; 1 for poor and 5 for Excellent in terms of durability, handling and cost.

Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa

1. BT056 - Excellent mileage 19,000KM. Wears both tires out equally. Touring = 4; Street Sport = 4??; value for $$ = 4.5(Manzz)

2. BT021 - Mileage (for front tire only) = 11,000km to 12,000km with 70/30 rider-pillon and 60/40 city-highway. Front wears off first. Touring = 2.5; Street Sport = 3 (tire can't grip on strong throttle); value for $$ = 2.5

3. BT020 - Excellent mileage. 15,000- 20,000KM.

I did abt 14,000km, 75/25 highway with 2 trips, (including C to C), quite a no of high speed blast and hard acceleration. Had to change cause hit a nail and patch kept leaking, but good for another few thousand km.

Touring = 4.5; Tyres are stable for high speed and good grip on dry weather. Wear is more substantial when blasting at high speed.

Street Sport = 3.5; Grip and Cornering is gd, could never fully use the whole contour of the tyre. Definitely better than BT021 anytime. (Never tried soft compounds or sport tyres so cant compare the difference)

Value for $$ = 4; It was one of the cheaper tyre with more mileage for rear 190 tyres. But I think already no longer in production.

4. Micheline Pilot Sport - Mileage = tba. Touring = tba; Street Sport = tba; value for $$ = (Zai pls comment)

Xbox comment: "michelin pilot sports.......on my bike i feel its ok.....went track......decent traction/stability at high speed......but loses grip when too heated up.....that time PG,i did a 30mins non-stop run inside did 10+laps last lap i feel the rear sliping under hard accleration thats when i decided i have to pit in liao"

5. Micheline Pilot Power - Mileage = tba. Touring = tba; Street Sport = tba; value for $$ = tba

The above applies for busa... Other ESRsians with other makes and capacity, please add to this list. Add only those tires you tried.

Yamaha

initially i thought all using PIE scardi......i go chase after musso......in the end i see andrew n kaiwen behind me.......after a while zai comes but he exit bke......then its musso me n andrew/kaiwen only......initially was travelling slow but slowly he pick up speed and when musso feels that the bike ok liao,he signal me thats he's fine then i blast away travelling ard 300++km/hr and i reach my carpark in 5mins time.........

i just finish checking the bike. i cant spot any problem. the headers are fine meaning spark plug n piston are ok. tune the idling to 1000rpm. bike runs well with that 'stupig' sound. lag of power.. i believe carburator choke?? i will bring the bike down tmr.

why never upgrade?? >> well, i want to earn my own living first. if i can survive, then i'll upgrade. i was with Lana for 2 yrs and still counting, running strong below 160km/h. btw, my dad is downgrading his cb13 cos he cannot ride a heavy bike permanently.

when got chance, 08 cbr 600 or 1000. honda all the way :thumb::thumb::thumb:
