i really am amazed at how the Government define speeding though..

they do not take into consideration about the vehicle rode/driven as to speed travelling...they are just out to grab people's money and maybe individual officers wanna score points...

sad to say was one of the unlucky ones last year...hope they adopt a more visible approach as to 'camping' if they really wanna slow down down traffic...

at least we have a chance to reason with them when stopped as to just waiting at home for a week or two praying hard they would be lenient about it...

haiz....

camping or not, those mobile cameras are accidents waiting to happen.

some speedster will jam brake, another tailgater will bang into him.

granted, we shouldn't be speeding and tailgating but that's a fact of life on the

road these days.

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

I totally agree!

I have encounter such unfair ruling.

1) I have fine with demerit point travelling at 70km/h @ Woodlands road. I was from Bt Batok road, here with a speed limit of 70km/h. Then I go thru Choa Chu Kang Rd then to Woodlands Road. I thought the speed limit would remain the same but amazingly its only 60km/h @ Wlds Rd. Hence I was caught with a speed camera.

I did sent an appeal letter coz I reli didn't know what's the speed limit & that was my first time. I also did a check along the road. There's one one small 60km/h along the whole stretch of Wlds Rd. But my appeal was not considered as they insisted that I travel at 73km/h @ that point of time.

I don't think its fair. I wrote another letter down to state I reli don't know what the speed limit. I also reported an incident where I saw a ROV officer travelling so much faster than me. I believe he could be travelling at a speed of 80km/h. I also provided the plate number. BUT GUESS wat: the TP didn't bother about my letter of appeal but state that I HAVE VIOLATED the speed limit of Wlds rd & expect me to PAY!!!! They also never feedback about the ROV officer. Not fair!

2) Believe me or not. I was fine for exiting the expressway without signalling. I was on the extreme left lane. That lane is either you go straight or enter a bend out from the expressway. Usually in that kind of situation I hardly see any motorist signalling. I was fine with $150. And the road was damn empty. I was not obstructing any vehicles nor reckless driving. Yet I was stopped by a TP officer and slapped with a fine. Not FAIR!!

These people are just out there to suck your money dry.

yalah.....sometimes I reli wonder what's with all this....

Traffic police is to ensure road safety for motorist or just to fine & suck other people's money dry....

They are really going astray from what they are suppose to...

The best example is the NEA!!!!

Their main motto is to create a good & clean environment. But I don't see them busy setting up campaign or doing something with the environment? All I see is their staff busying walking all over Singapore catching people smoking at undesgnated area & littering cigarattes buds. So where is the main purpose of NEA.... same as the TP!!! FINE & FINE....that's it.....

wah ohlins. so jia lat ah..

in the end, singaporeans end up with the same attitude towards the env and the law.. but have the hide and seek skill to get away from the authorities.
