haha wed i session 7 for the 7.01

failed the u-turn. wobbled. lot of ppl said the u-turn is a killer practical and TP.

I think the main problem when doing the u-turn is that we tend to look down at the front wheel or slightly in front of the front wheel to ensure that we turn into the centre of the middle lane. But this habit will almost certainly result in wide turning, wobbling or both.

So the key is to look ahead at where u wanna go - just like when doing the S-course and crank course, when making turns and when negotiating bends. Also not forgetting ur slow speed control - if on 1st gear, half-clutch/maintain throttle; if on 2nd gear, maintain throttle and apply little rear brake if too fast.

:goodluck:

drop bike at plank, cos never throttle enough.. kahhwee, am i rite..

Actually narrow plank is my fav subject, what I do is hold half clutch, hold on to throttle & step lightly on rear brake.. This is what I always do, can help me to get more than 7 sec.. :cheeky:

Never mind, try again.. last time i also very lousy with my plank de

when u not enough throttle, bike will wobble cos speed too slow liao le. Must learn how to control the bike properly lor. So mabel, u r kinda right.

Roadrunner71, thx for the useful info.

oh ya, the instructor said muz apply 60% rear brake and 20% front brake when doing the U-turn. I just don't understand y need to apply break when already too slow.

btw, are you going to buy Bajaj Pulsar?

tink i wanna try the new bike. i'll tell the instructor my bike got problem lol

hmm abt the biting point, try to "know" "where" is "it" when u r on the bike b4 instructors asked u to move off. should have plenty of time to do it. wad i always do is that, release clutch and throttle quick, the bike will move and won't stall. maybe i m wrong hehehehe.
