1 thing...be confident...dun scared fail...do ur best...blindspot,safety,signals,check sides at the traffic light...all these very important...dun follow people...do ur own...i failed once coz i go and follow the guy infront...

1 thing...be confident...dun scared fail...do ur best...blindspot,safety,signals,check sides at the traffic light...all these very important...dun follow people...do ur own...i failed once coz i go and follow the guy infront...

fig 8..all about eyeline ..dun stare at the kerb, will sure kena curb one ^^;; personal experiences: twice i stare until suddenly out-of-course then riding over grass liao zz

 

personally i think must be brave, dun be afraid to go slightly faster if u find the bike keeps hitting the inside of the curve..eyeline impt, bank with the bike..

 

on the other hand if ur problem is too fast..make sure u grip the tank tightly..and change ur eyeline more quickly since u have less time to react..an easier method would be try to find a slower speed ur more comfortable at, maintain a constant throttle, just focus on getting thru first, then timing second..

 

imo, best is to book RC and just practice ur fig 8..to build confidence, practice ur eyeline and find the speed+throttle control u need for this course..fig 8 can be quite fun de, see all the instructors zip in and out =p best of luck for ur 5.02!!

usually is briefing first. if group too big then will be split into 2 groups. first round usually warm up then after that one group do circuit first, another do road first. after that, if still got time instructors will go count the point then you just OTOT practice in the circuit...

 

tips on passing? just complete all your course on time and do all your safety check. look out for wide/sharp turning. these are the points usually they will penalize on.

Keep it cool.. first round is usually the try-out.. if you get little points, dun be too overconfident.. fig 8 like someone post, is all about eye line, look far and look at where you're going not at the kerb....

session 8 cheaper, and shorter time, so depending on instructor, they may give one round circuit warm up and then test liao... just keep it cool lor..

yes.. important tip there... dun blindly follow others... I was once the first bike, and i accidentally signal at where i'm not suppose to signal, and was the cause of 5 trainees to fail as they followed me (extra 2 points), but i passed... felt a bit guilty after... but then again i wasn't wearing a tag that says, "follow me"...

 

second time during 8.01... was damn hot, couldnt stand to wait plus i already know i fail after some calculations, and i squeezed between cars, and 2 trainees follow suit.. so they also fail because they followed me..

yup... my first TP on 30th June, failed.. then 7th July get slot liao.. faster took the slot and passed..

 

Now heard have to wait up to 1.5 or 2 months sia...
