BBDC - Anyone Taking 2B There?

now i believe defensive riding is part of ur class 2b. last time was a seperate and base on interest. but if ur in the SAF then its compulsory. Hmmm no... there isnt anitin special abt ur license after DRC.. jus tat u get a paper stating u have attended it. tats during my time.....

 

so...now with the integration of defensive riding and no other cert or paper is issued......in theory.....we can ride into camp liao right?

the 2b course only includes for 3 defenisve theory lessons if im not wrong. the actual defensive riding course offered includes both theory and practical where u learn to do sharp turning, skidding, etc. half a day course and offers a cert to indicate u attended the def riding course.

once u have undergone the defensive riding... check wit BBDC if there is a DRC course. if its the same with the one during ur prac then dun need. if its diff... then ur S1 br will require the DRC cert in order for u to ride into camp..

no no no..i mean for pple who wants or needs to take Defensive Riding....it used to be a half day thing which cost about $50.

 

Now they up it to 2 full days and cost $180.

u are refering to the Defensive Riding Course after you go to your 2B or u took it as part of your 2B?

yeah the defensive riding theory was made compulsory for trainees who registered for 2B from 18th may 2009. 3 theory lesson which is supposed to be taken before going for 6.01 i think.

i duno about plane, but driving such ships, its not about the licence but the ability to foresee possible ship circumstances and react to it. u need to get a bridge watchkeeping cert. but for smaller ships like those leisure one, cn get ppcdl:angel:

 

for plane, you just need a playstation2 and the flight simulator game.

When u all pass and get license, is there any difference in the licenses? As in it will indicate that you all took Defensive Riding as compared to the licenses issued earlier on?

 

i don't think there will be any difference. it's just part of the lesson plan.

 

i dunno now leh but after i get my license in a few days then i tell you okay ~

The paper is 1hours and 30 min i do the paper only 15 min and 1 hours 15min i making cake in toilet bukit batok ite haiz !!
