aye i booked a last minute session this afternoon. RAIN AND FAIL AGAIN OMG :(

my next session is wednesday 8.05pm. anybody wanna go help me take my 3.02 for me? LOL

3.02 is e brake only right? just apply the correct technique. after the white line, close throttle and brake gradually.

2 points - wide turning

I.F 1 - My stupid lousy shoes is okay when the road is dry but when it's raining GG , put my feet down but shoe too slippery so I fell down .

I.F 2 - Didn't stop at the stop line after S course , the car haven't turn in but I was supposed to stop in case he turn in .

yeah the s course area always good to stop just in case. when i did my 5.02 and 8.01 sometimes i stop just to be sure even though there is no car and get 2 points for unnecessary stopping. :sian:

bro vashie. better book your revisions fast cuz 1 week before tp difficult to get slots. esp on the day before the test. if you dont book in advance then have to wait and hope someone would cancel their slots so that you can go. all the best :thumb:

well on the amount of RR and SP to take depends on the individuals. depends on where are your weak area that you need to practice and whether you are confident on the other areas.

usually 2 SP and RR should be enough in my opinion. if you are confident in the courses then maybe you can rest the day before your tp. but if you are not then it is better to go for practice the day before. but usually the day before the courses are super pack.

Hmm...my TP on 29th...booked one RR on 27th and one SP on 28th. Will go for one more either SP or RC during the week. Hope one RR is enough.

Can anyone briefly go through how the TP would be like? e.g. All go together or go by groups.

for tp you must be there by 7.30am. then take your tag number and give the instructor your pdl and ic. and then go for warm up. mostly warm up either 1 or 2 rounds depending on the time and the people waiting. then go back inside the room and the instructor would give the briefing about the test route and where to check blind spot and then can ask him qns if you not sure.

then they would let group by group to take the test. there would be 10 testers and each tester would be allocated 9 testes cuz total got 90 testes taking the test. so 9 by 9 would go and take the test. 1 instructor would be outside the room and the other 1 inside. the one inside would call out for the next group which is required to take the test.

after everything must wait until 11.30am then go to the classroom in the 3rd floor where the results would be announced. even if you immediate failure also must wait to collect your result slip cuz your pdl would be attached to it.

Anyone got tips on 2.02?

Going later..

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

Thanks for explaining! But as for the tag number...random take or will allocate you the number?

For 2.02...right turn lane change right?

Remember to change gear before making the turn.

After the turn, don't straighten the bike with the road, keep the bike pointed towards the lane you wanna changed into. |\|

DON'T turn handlebar when lane changing!

DON'T change too early or too late, follow as what the instructor tell you. (Different instructor teach differently, some say lane change at shuttle bus stop, some say change at arrow marking.)

And mostly importantly...luck! Sometimes the cars there stop for no reason or suddenly move from stationary...learn to predict the movements.

Good luck!:thumb:

they would allocate the number for you. oldest infront youngest at the back. on the day of the test they would have the list of the testes and their number. so just go and check the list for your number.

relax man. 2.02 is a difficult lesson cuz alot of things to learn. if you wobble try to open more throttle so that the bike would be stable. :thumb:

I didn't see any noticeboard near the waiting area...guess I'll take a better look around next week when I go for more practice. Thanks for the clarifications though. :)

Sky99 bro...pract 2.02 I total took 4 times to get it right. Initially my problems was wobbling when lane changing too. I think that it's easier to fall when travelling at low speed as compared to travelling at a faster speed.

Slow = wobble = lose control = fall.

Travel at a faster speed = no wobble = no fall!

Well...not encouraging you to speed or anything, but a higher speed (within speed limit!) is necessary for lane changing too. You need to change in gradually but at a reasonable speed so as not to cause the vehicles behind to slow down or take evasive actions.

Just my 2 cents worth...I think a bike moving at a decent speed won't fall if you don't do something silly. :cheeky:

2.02 is seriously one of the more important pract among all the practs, just persevere on and eventually you will pass it. :thumb:

Haha...will take a look next time!

Anyway...regarding U-turn. When you U-turn out to the lane, if the tyre accidently cross over the dotted line to the other lane while turning, under which category would they deduct marks? Out of test route?

Likely to be wide turning. But I would rather eat the points than foot down. At least if complete the turn still got chance to pass, if foot down immediate fail.

My bike is stock! Please don't jio me!

i remember got one girl ask this question when i took 2b last time. the instructor said depends on the tp. cuz it can either be wide turning(2 points) or turning to incorrect lane(4 points).
