Pass your 3.1 already ah ?

E brake very easy , the first half of the 'runway' , change to gear 3 and maintain a speed of 30 - 35kmh , when you reach the white line ( 2nd half ) , close throttle and apply both brake gradually , when bike is about to stop , clutch in .

Fig 8 , change to 2nd gear before you enter and maintain speed , use your rear brake to control speed if you think you're going too fast . Always look ahead into the course and grip your fuel tank to balance better . Don't go too fast , I did that and skidded outwards , another guy in the same session skidded too . Personally I think crank course is harder -_-

e brake can be passed on the first attempt, follow what LINNN say... but our legs are usually stronger than our fingers, so don't go jam your rear brake!

for figure 8, actually got an easier tip. move off, second gear and enter the course. look at the blue signboard '8', then move your eyes to look at the exit just slightly left and ahead of the signboard, then look at the opposite side of the exit (this part is actually like a straight line), then look about 15-45 degree to your right. by then, you already about to finish the figure 8, check for cars turning in to the small road by turning your head and look at the main road.

got car, then prepare to stop. if no car, just slow down slightly to turn out of the course. if never slow down, most probably you will end up with wide turning. if you can get the hang of this, all you need is just to maintain your throttle. dont have to use brake at all.

after you turn out of figure 8, before you turn to stop at crank course, there used to be a cone on the pavement which means you need to check your left blindspot before you make the left turn.

stop at the start line of the crank course, change signal to right. check back, move off and kick to second gear. do a normal right turn to get into the crank course. then turn to look at the tower seat where TP will be sitting at, (remember to give a big :D on the day of your test) change signal to left, then do the last turn like a normal left turn. before you exit the course, check for traffic on the right.

got car, then stop your bike. if no car, then can turn and head towards the traffic junction. during the test, you are supposed to go straight, so position yourself in the center. but during practice, most likely, you will be turning left back to queue up for figure 8, so position more to the left.

morale of this post - you will go where you look at.

Personally I think crank course is harder -_-

I also think that the crank course is harder! :cheeky:

Wanted to book a RR tomorrow...but cannot book! First time met with such problem, cannot book 2 lessons consecutively. I vaguely remember I got book consecutively before. :(

Hope TP at road goes smoothly.

One question! After the U-turn outside, need to do a right turn at the junction. For that junction...form up single file or 2 by 2?

I'm thinking it's most probably single file...just don't know why it's single file when the whole lane is for turning. Going back into the circuit after slope the left turn, that must stop in twos. Don't understand the logic. :(

I know form according to what the arrow show...but the lane for right turn after the U-turn is purely for turning. One direction but form up one row...:?

i can remember that the row is formed as a single file. but i can't remember the reason why. anyway tmr before you test the instructor would give you guys briefing so you can ask him why.

Which session did you gone? E brake other than straighten your arms, you need to sit up straight too when you're braking. If i'm not wrong, you need to lean backwards just a little bit to counter the force pushing you forward.
