haha no need scare de. Cos compared to class 3 where you got an instructor sitting beside, class 2(a/b) is all independent de. Not that stress relatively .

 

sometimes it's luck also. I worry over my plank, got over it swee swee, happy, go e brake, didnt brake enough, hit red line x_X I did 8.01 5 times lol.

 

Dont worry for TP, they will provide good condition bikes. The mechanics will check the bike and make sure the bike used are good condition de. So during warm up if any bike you use doesnt feel good, report to the instructor.

Yep! I also always blur blur don't know what instructor trying to say every time, then always do wrongly or take many pract to understand the logic.

How many rounds of warm up did you go for?

Sometimes for me, when I do something too many times, I will like lose touch and do badly.

During TP I went 2 rounds of warm up, both times gotten bike with brake problems, had a hard time negotiating the S course and gotten a bit demoralized. Then I just stopped and go back to waiting room and wait for actual TP to start. IMO, too much of something is a bad thing...practice too much will like lost touch for the actual test.

Just dont get immediate failures. Today when I was reaching the U turn point, I suddenly lost my confidence in the positioning. Afraid that my right leg will go down.

End up I position very straight LOL and wide turning. But at least I get 2 points rather than immediate failure.

 

 

vashie: Yep. planning to get a bike soon, but still a little blur about the procedures and such haha. Got pm stanco and ask him about the procedures. Thanks to him , now got at least a rough idea hah.

When I go till U-turn. I see clear move out...then feel like the bike not turning enough and I did a fatal mistake by looking down! My bike wobbled like mad throughout the turn, lucky leg never drop down.

 

I saw someone go back waiting room after one round also. I didn't knew can take again, hesitated for a long while before queuing up for 2nd try.

 

I made the deal with the seller already, let him ride till end of month which his Fazer would arrive then we do the transfer. I'm also blur about the procedure, but the seller quite patient and teach me everything. Just now sure about insurance part. Don't know which numbers to call.

You don't have friend who rides a bike?

He teach me stuff about the bike, little bits here and there.

But as for insurance he said he not sure, ask me to source myself.

Currently I only know NTUC, AXA and Mitsui...but not sure about their contact numbers for quotation.

I could help you a bit next time...but I don't think I would be experiences enough to see the engine and test the bike though.

Hmm..currently i am still not sure with "getting-a-bike" procedures so i need some good advice from fellow bros and sisters here to guide me before i decide on getting a bike. I am play-safe type one hahaha.

Haha...understandable. I'm one play-safe person too, which is why I took 1 month to get my bike.

For the procedures, you can ask around here. I'm sure they'll be willing to help you regarding this. As I'm still going through the process, I'm not really sure about the whole thing myself yet.

If you're confirm you'll be getting a bike, I suggest you keep a lookout on the bikes which you prefer, go for bike viewing with a friend experienced in riding. Bike can be found at bike shops or the Used bike section in this forum. For bike shops, don't just go to any shop you see, try to visit the more reputable ones.

All the legal procedures can learn while looking for your dream bike.
