OIC... so confusing for us as consumers. UM says they are agent, GMAX also selling, LV Singapore is also selling... all claimed they are the importer. :faint:

yest i go change eo at Republic Motors.

i know it's damn fast i change my eo (2000cl).

but what to do i go out everynight. HAAHA!

i ask mechanic about my rear brake problem.

he told me my rear brake pad gone case liao (like what you guys say).

when the mech open, my old brake pad really rusty like 1 kind ..

and worst still, DUSTY. LOL!

changed my brake pad for $14 (dunno if it's Honda brand or what)

never make SOUND at all .. (smooth) :D

better than the old brake pad .. (hard brake) :D

CONCLUSION

IT'S GOOD! :D

but now problem is, if i purchase a racing footrest,

my rear brake will be very useless....

my friend told me to use HELL BRAKE for my rear brake ..

but all that $$$$$$

so opinion guys ... change racing footrest or not? :cheeky:

What's HELL BRAKE?

I prefer stock footrest because can scrap to create sparks, look like u corner more fierce with less effort.

I feel that footrest give better body position when corner for tall ppl like me...

Ehhhh... i beg to differ leh... :cheeky:

U got to add 7% GST which makes up to $479.90 bcoz import sure got GST. Install they probably make another $10 = $490. Then come shipping cost wic i believe is approx S$100 based on each exhaust, so mass shipping it will be cheaper, probably less half the S$100 per exhaust...?? So price is about right @ $504 if that's is what they are retailing.

From what i know, shipping normally is dirt cheap for companies.

MSRP is big CHOP already.

In U.S.A, noone there buy thing at MSRP... DRZ400sm MSRP USD$6699, they buy at around USD$5500

Ultimately, willing seller, willing buyer lah. Like i said, I won't buy if it is above S$400. :cheeky:

Imagine Yoshimura exhaust $800, i can overhaul, new fairing, new brembo master pump and still got $$ to eat.

better still bring the family go makan at nice place. *dempsey hill* lol...

I went dempsey hill once only for company lunch, see menu almost heart attack...

I wonder:

In Msia, when u buy a car, free gift is exhaust pipe? most of the car i see in there all zheng exhaust..

And weirdly, not all bikes there run with AHM/Endurance/etc...

So cheap endurance go for RM160

i agree, dont waste money on this... even with hel brake hose at the rear wont give u much difference in feeling... i rather u save that few hundred bucks for ur next bike... unless u really mad abt wave and it is ur ultimate dream bike.. den dont say lar.. spend as much as u want...

yup its true-

even with discbrake conversion n hel brake hose- u wont feel ur rear brake that much UNLESS ur on stock footrest -

why i say that- i have both front and rear hose installed with the HEL lines on my previous 125Z-

front brake: :thumb:

Rear brake: nahhhh.....u aint got the kick' bro'ss.....

conclusion:

-waste money setting up discbrake conversion-

-waste money for the HEL hose on the rear-

-few years down the road, sell off ur bike:cheeky:

how often do we have to change air filter? a mech told me for wave, standard servicing is plug, eo and 1 yr change air filter 1 time. is this true? if it is, its been a year+ already time to change

around 1 year the most...

depending whether u got extra $$ to spare. half year a time also can...

i took out mine to change so dirty....
